Visalia, California, United States

I'm putting my 1942 Buick Super Convertible up for sale after owning it for 25 years.
This is a Very Rear Super  Convertible not a Roadmaster.
I pulled the motor out and was going to redo everything 12 years ago but have not done it.
I would love to redo it but to many health problems..
I have a Chevy 350 with appox 1000 miles on it to go back in it also a 350 Turbo..
The car has power steering and brakes, power seat, tilt wheel.. It has a Nova front clip and 12 bolt rear end. I have new American wiring harness for it also. I know there is a lot I'm forgetting..
You could have it running in a weekend if you do not want to redo it. I was going to convert it to a Cabriolet (something to be different) and I have the original vent windows to put it back to stock. I could keep going on but if your interested in it Please give me a call or text for a Lot more info.. It needs tires and the motor and trans put back in.
I'm wanting $40000 for it. You will not find another one..
I might consider part trade for the right car. I have driven this everywhere in Calif and was a great driving car..
The pics is all I have off it now but can take more if  interested..
If the car sells OK if not OK.. I turned down $30000 for it over 20 years ago..
For a lot more information you can Call or Text me at 559 731-5099.. or also email me jerryb1942@yahoo.com ...

I'm located in Visalia, Ca.  if you would like to see the car.
Good luck on buying it.. You will not find another one off these. Be the only one at car shows.. This puts Fords, Chevy's, Cadillac s,
Oldsmobile,  Dodge, Pontiac, Chevrolet and all Others to Shame

Opel readying Adam model with SUV cues

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

The Opel Adam, the microcar of General Motors' European subsidiary, has seen its sales cool significantly since it first hit the market in the United Kingdom and Europe, but a push is reportedly under way that just might be enough to get the stylish, little car moving again.
Using the Opel Adam Rocks Concept as a template, Opel will ruggedize the Adam, so that it might compete with the growing herd of city cars that sport SUV styling, like the Volkswagen Cross Up and Fiat Panda 4x4, according to a report from Automotive News Europe. Sporting a bumped-up ride height and tougher body work, it's a dedicated soft-roader, but will freshen the Adam's lineup and, hopefully, broaden its customer appeal.
The Adam Rocks, according to IHS Automotive analyst Ian Fletcher, should also make some more coin for GM's struggling European arm. "Automakers are happy to meet demand for SUV and crossovers as the customer pays a premium," Fletcher told ANE. And although the Rocks might have been planned from the start as a production vehicle, the timing, with the Adam's sales slowdown, doesn't seem like a coincidence.

Opel Cascada close to getting green light for US

Fri, 13 Sep 2013

For a company with a long tradition of grand touring convertibles, it's almost unseemly that General Motors doesn't offer a properly relaxed four-seat convertible in North America. There's the Chevrolet Camaro, of course, but it's not big on rear-seat space and it doesn't offer that sort of serene demeanor that many open-air buyers crave. We're thinking of something more refined and, dare we say, elegant. Something a bit closer to the Opel Cascada.
The General's front-wheel drive convertible went on sale in Europe this year, and while it seemed like a natural fit for its Buick brand in America, it's never been sold here. That may be about to change, however. Back in June, CEO Dan Akerson hinted he'd like to see the Cascada available in the US, and now there's word from Edmunds that importation "could happen soon." That's according to an unnamed insider at the company.

2013 Buick Verano Turbo vs. 2013 Acura ILX 2.4

Answering The $30,000 Entry-Level Luxury Question
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and Acura would have matched a Skylark against an Integra.
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and its Acura equivalent would have matched a Skylark against an Integra. The unfair battle would have resulted in the compact American's defeat in nearly every measurable category, as the Japanese competitor was arguably at the height of its powers.
