Stunning 1983 Buick Regal T-Type custom built LSX proudly featuring an LS1 Supercharged V8.  If you have been looking for that 1 of a kind car that turns heads everywhere, then take a peek at this beauty.

This T-type is finished in one of the nicest paint jobs you will find, Midnight Black!    Literally, the shine and mystique of the finish in the pictures due it no justice.  Up close you will find it even more breathtaking as hundreds and hundreds of hours have been poured into each panel.  Absolutely, no wave or rust in the body whatsoever.  Truly a stunning example of what a quality refinish should look like.

The interior features the stock features with upgraded Ricarro leather buckets and a few auto meter gauges.  A sound thumping custom radio tuner with upgraded speakers ensures your music sounds just as sweet as the engine.

The heartbeat of this car is a supercharged LS1 pushing out 450 HP. The supercharger is a Paxton with 9 lbs boost.  It has been mildly tuned and dyno at a conservative 500HP.  The previous owner wanted to drive this car and still maintain a decent gas mileage so there is plenty of HP left if the car was to be totally unleashed.

Overall, everything on this car from top to bottom shows excellent and runs out great.  This is an excellent example of a quality showpiece that someone can enjoy and still drive every day.  Check out the detailed pictures and video and please call with any questions at 614-800-8784.

Next Buick Regal to inherit styling cues from Opel Monza concept

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

Ever look at a concept car from a foreign auto marque like Opel and wonder what relevance it will have to you as an American consumer? Well, we'll tell you: at least as far as the Opel Monza concept goes, it could mean a lot.
Speaking with Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said, "You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia." And the Insignia, we needn't point out, is essentially ported over to American showrooms as the Buick Regal.
The relationship between the Regal and Insignia only stands to grow closer as Opel design chief Mark Adams has also been charged with tightening the bonds between the two automakers positioned on opposite shores of the Atlantic. Adams also intends to imbue the next Insignia with more "premium brand values" in order to "add polish to the brand." Which in turn means that the Regal will be designed to look more upscale, too.

Watch this phantom Buick drive itself down the highway in a snow storm

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

Years ago, General Motors used Buick cars to test out the idea of a "smart highway" concept. More recently, GM has been talking up its award-winning Super Cruise semi-autonomous technology that will roll out with Cadillac and make its way to Buick. The LeSabre in the video above has nothing to do with any of that.
On Interstate 15 in Utah, a man driving this LeSabre got into an accident that rearranged the front end and set the horn on permanent blare. At the time of writing this, no one is sure what happened next, but the man ended up sitting in the snow in the highway median while his car carried on down the highway without him. Passing traffic stayed well to the right.
The 51-second video below provides a different take on our autonomous future. A local newscast on KUTV covered the story the evening of the incident, but the Utah Highway Patrol didn't have any update on the fate of the LeSabre. We'll take that to mean that Buick's take on Christine could still be out on the prowl... so watch out!

Opel Insignia OPC getting facelift. Will the Buick Regal GS see it, too?

Tue, 07 Aug 2012

We've seen spy shots of the base Opel Insignia wearing facelifted front and rear ends, and now it appears that the more potent OPC version will be benefitting from a nip/tuck, as well.
The front bumper has been redesigned, incorporating new air intakes - toned-down versions of the model's signature fangs - as well as a new grille. Out back, there will be minimal changes to the overall fascia, most likely stuff like slightly redesigned taillamps, and inside, these spy shots show a larger navigation/infotainment screen sitting atop the center console.
This is all well and good for the Insignia, but we're wondering how these changes will impact North America's Buick Regal GS. No, it may not share the same powertrain punch as the Euro-spec OPC, but visually, the cars are nearly identical. When questioned about possible changes for the GS, a Buick spokesperson told us that the automaker "can't comment" on any changes at this point. Even so, we wouldn't be surprised if some small changes come our way in the next year or so.
