 I haven't driven it in a couple of years since putting on a new Mass air sensor and computer(which it didn't need). Car needs top of drivers door panel and seat upholstered, headliner, drivers side window switch, door guard trim molding(?), window weather stripping in doors, astroroof rubber seal, small plastic horn ring , bumper fillers, windshield cracked from chip not fixed, battery and paint (at least on top, hood, and rear deck) paint is original I think, and probably other small things for it's age. Don't think the power antenna works. Body is solid and straight with no rust or damage history as far as I know. Small dime size ding behind drivers door(tried to show in a picture) . Small place on hood that was there when I bought the car.. Trim on right side of dash needs re gluing or replacing. See pictures. Car needs cleaning all over. No apparent fluid leaks. I'm the second owner and bought the car with 70k miles from local original owner. It has a performance kit I had installed ($800+)  consisting of SS exhaust except mufflers are galvanized, street/strip chip, K&N air filter, etc. Never installed lower temp thermostat or coolant plugs on throttle body. Has adjustable fuel pressure regulator and high volume fuel pump with extra relay and 10 avg wire to pump. Have a new door post boost gauge, never installed. Have original air cleaner and extra used powermaster brake unit. Replaced it before I knew there were 3 places for brake fluid, accumulator side was low. I enjoyed this car more than any I have owned and hate to sell. Wish I could keep it. I think they are the best looking Buick ever, especially in the evening or at night. GM warning 800,000 owners that their cars may need oil changes more frequently than they say

The days of changing your engine oil every 3,000 miles are long gone thanks to most cars having automatic oil monitoring systems, but about 800,000 General Motors vehicles apparently have incorrect monitoring software that is leading to premature engine component wear. According to Autoweek, certain 2010-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain models equipped with 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines could be going too long in between oil changes resulting in a higher-than-normal number of warranty claims for the engine's balance chain. The balance chain links the balance shaft to the crankshaft, and a worn one can produce higher noise levels.
As a fix, GM dealers will be reprogramming the software for the monitors in an effort to reduce the interval between oil changes, which varies based on driving habits and conditions. Through February 2015, the software update will be done at no cost to vehicle owners, but since this is not a recall, after that point, it will be up to the discretion of dealers as to whether or not they will charge for the service. What isn't immediately clear is whether GM plans on giving assistance to out-of-warranty customers who are experiencing engine issues from the worn chain.

Next Buick Regal to inherit styling cues from Opel Monza concept

Ever look at a concept car from a foreign auto marque like Opel and wonder what relevance it will have to you as an American consumer? Well, we'll tell you: at least as far as the Opel Monza concept goes, it could mean a lot.
Speaking with Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show, Opel chief Karl-Thomas Neumann said, "You will see the Monza when you see the next Insignia." And the Insignia, we needn't point out, is essentially ported over to American showrooms as the Buick Regal.
The relationship between the Regal and Insignia only stands to grow closer as Opel design chief Mark Adams has also been charged with tightening the bonds between the two automakers positioned on opposite shores of the Atlantic. Adams also intends to imbue the next Insignia with more "premium brand values" in order to "add polish to the brand." Which in turn means that the Regal will be designed to look more upscale, too.

Consumer Reports says infotainment systems 'growing first-year reliability plague'

The Consumer Reports Annual Auto Reliability Survey (right) is out, and the top two spots look much the same as last year's list with Lexus and Toyota in first and second place, respectively. However, there are some major shakeups for 2014, with Acura plunging eight spots from third in 2013 to 11th this year, and Mazda replaces it on the lowest step of the podium. Honda and Audi round out the top five. This year's list includes six Japanese brands in the top 10, two Europeans, one America and one Korean.
Acura isn't the only one taking a tumble, though. Infiniti is the biggest loser this year by dropping 14 spots to 20th place. Other big losses come from Mercedes-Benz with an 11-place fall to 24th, and GMC, which declines 10 positions to 19th.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's not traditional mechanical bugs hauling down these automaker's reliability scores. Instead, pesky problems with infotainment systems are taking a series toll on the rankings. According to Consumer Reports, complaints about "in-car electronics" were the most grumbled about element in new cars. Problem areas included things like unresponsive touchscreens, issues pairing phones and multi-use controllers that refused to work right.
