This is a 1972 Buick Electra cream puff, it only has 28 thousand original miles. I bought this vehicle from an elderly woman that had not driven the car more than 6 Sundays a Year! The paint and body look like a new car off the showroom floor. The car starts up first time and drives like your floating on air. You don't feel bumps like you would on a newer vehicle. The only thing missing is the air compressor for the A/C, which I have located on several different sites. All the power works, seats, windows, radio is original. Nothing has been added to this car, all original. The power in this car is very strong, smooth on demand acceleration. The original owner sold it due to health problems, I bought it because I like the old vintage cars and I actually have one more than I need (older cars), so this one is going up for sale. Honestly you could use this as an everyday driver, it is that dependable and built to last another 10-15 years easy. Every time I took it for a drive someone would comment on it, asking whether I had restored it or had it recently painted, Everyone would be surprised when I told them no this is just well taken care of. I am putting a low reserve on it so it will sell before the holidays. I am listing this locally also and the first one with the right price will get a great car that will never be duplicated, they will never build them this big and luxurious with the raw power this 455 cubic inch engine puts out. GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.
GM delivers best Q3 sales since 1980, 2.4M vehicles sold

Even after registering over 70 recalls through the first three-quarters of 2014, General Motors saw its best Q3 results since Jimmy Carter was in the White House, registering over 2.4 million global sales between June and September on the back of strong results in the US and China.
US sales were marshaled by good results for GM's pickups, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which bumped the manufacturer's truck market share to 35.6 percent, up nearly three points from Q1 2014. Buick has seen healthy growth as well, with the Encore dominating its segment for the sixth month running.
It was China, though, that really bolstered GM's sales, as the company's efforts to top last year's record-setting 3.16 million units continued apace. Small SUV sales saw massive growth, with Encore, Chevrolet Trax and Captiva figures jumping 90 percent in Q3. Brand-wise, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick all saw sales gains in the PRC, with each recording double-digit year-over-year jumps. Cadillac sales alone were up 63 percent compared to the first nine months of 2013.
