Beautiful 2007 Bmw 750li Black On Black 22" Asanti Wheels 59k Miles Runs Great! on 2040-cars
Bettendorf, Iowa, United States
I really do love this car it gets so many looks and compliments but since I only drive it when it's super nice out if like something sporty like a corvette that's only reason I'm selling. This is a $80k car so there are tons of options some are....luxury seeing package navigation push start this has the comfort access package which means you don't need to even take the key out of ur pocket just pull on the door it opens and push to start (one of my fav things) it has a DVD system in the rear logic 7 13 speaker sound system soft close doors heated cooled front seats heated rear sears heated steering wheel tons of adjustments for the front seats window shades (which I never use and the rear passenger one is missing easy fix) it is equipped with a phone which is really nice there are many more like I said a lot to list. The wheels are asanti af-135 only a few months old they only have about 1k miles on them so they are basically new they are over $7500 new top of the line wheels they ride amazing no shaking or vibrating like most after market wheels do. They are 3 piece forged wheels which means you can do all sorts of customizing to them if you would like. I am the 3rd owner it has been babied since I bought it from Florida interior is in great shape exterior is in pretty good shape few nicks and scratches which can easily be fixed with a good buff the history shows an accident on the car it was just a park lot incident only damage is a small scratch/ding on the bottom rear bumper seriously can't even tell it was like that when I bought it so wasn't an issue to me. It was just inspected and had the oil changed runs fantastic doesn't need any sort of work only work it will need in the next year or so might be brakes. Things I have done....tinted windows all around. I have had the car coded to do things most of these wont do from the factory like window up/down with remote. Mirror fold old when the car is locked and armed halos on as the day running lights trunk open/close from remote. I've also blacked out all of the chrome trim (with plasti dip so it is easily 100% reversible in an hour ur choice the last pics are of it with chrome) I've also painted the calipers white which I think looks nice with the all black. I also have 3 keys (2 remotes) these usually only come with 1 remote and a dummy key that only starts the car I have an additional remote which is usually $350 from bmw. I also have 2 sets of caps for the wheels asanti caps and bmw caps for the asanti wheels. All of the lights have been replaced with LEDs for a nice clean white look. Contact me on here or feel free to text anytime 5636768317 with any questions. car can be picked up or shipped ur choice buyer covers shipping and $500 is due right away serious buyers only please. Thanks! |

2012 Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn offers a tutorial in cars to come
Sun, 19 Aug 2012The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is a showcase for some of the world's most exquisite vintage vehicles, but if newer metal is more your speed, the Concept Car Lawn is the place to be.
This year saw models from Bugatti, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren and Bentley as well as SRT, Hennessey, Infiniti and Lexus among others. The ultimate sampler platter of exotic and concept vehicles saw the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse mingle with the Lamborghini Urus Concept and the mighty Hennessey Venom GT, though we found ourselves particularly smitten with the BMW Zagato Roadster and the Aston Martin Vanquish.
Not that we could go wrong anywhere we looked. The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed seemed perfectly content parked on the manicured putting green, as did the McLaren MP4-12C Spider. Get cozy with the full gallery below to see the smattering of metal on the lawn.
Car and Driver lists 10Best for 2013, same as it ever was
Wed, 05 Dec 2012Forgive us for having the distinct feeling of déjà vu, but it certainly feels like we've been here before. By that we are referring Car and Driver and the announcement of its annual 10Best vehicles for 2013. To be sure, it's an impressive selection of cars that combine heart-pounding performance and frugal sensibilities, but it also represents something of a broken record on the part of C/D. We're not so sure that's a flaw, though, as the resulting list is tough to argue with.
Vehicles like the Ford Mustang, Porsche Boxster, and BMW 3 Series have maintained their high-horsepower spots on this list for several years now. Even on the more practical and nimble end, the Honda Accord, Honda Fit and Mazda Miata have not budged. These continued spots are even in light of redesigns for some vehicles such as the Accord, Boxster and 3 Series.
In fact, the only newcomer to the 10Best list this year are the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ twins, which knocked out the Cadillac CTS-V. We think it would have been a huge misstep to have excluded the FR-S/BRZ, even in light of the supercharged Caddy's lamentable departure from 10Best.
Gus Van Sant casts the BMW i8 in soft light
Sun, 18 May 2014BMW has spent the better part of a century building its reputation with fossil-burning transportation, but now it's banking heavily on the success of its new i family of electric vehicles. In order to succeed, it will need to sell examples of the i3, but sell the idea with the i8. And in order to do so, it is going to need some out-of-the-box promotional thinking. And that's just what it seems to have done with this latest campaign of television commercials.
The series of three (or at least that's how many have been released thus far) ads wax more poetic than most of the car ads we've seen. But while they might skimp on the technical details, they don't skip over the talent. The videos are the work of Oscar-nominated director Gus Van Sant, the cinematic artist best known for films like Good Will Hunting, Milk and Finding Forrester.
Van Sant has also solicited the voices of Sam Hazeldine (Caleb from Resurrection), Sting's daughter Mickey Sumner (Sophie from Frances Ha) and Michael Pitt (Jimmy from Boardwalk Empire), but doesn't hide them behind the microphone in the recording studio. Instead they serve as the face of Bavaria's new hybrid sports car, and the results are rather stunning. See for yourself in the trio of videos below.
