for sale is my 2001 bmw 740il . this is our family's 3rd car and is due for inspection and registration at end of month and were not going to renew it .
In last 12k miles cars has had
brakes ,battery ,osv , ignition coils ,valve cover gaskets , spark plugs , both belts ,thermostat ,filters
all pixels on dash working , Nav screen has lines on it , had black carbon fiber emblems whole set , has 18" wheels from a newer 750il, new fog light ,
all parts for it I bought on ebay and work on car myself ,
I know car well and know pretty much everything else it needs
it needs 1 oxygen sensor 2 in car are new its one of the other ones , it needs an abs wheel speed sensor or maybe it need an abs module the lights came on dash for abs traction and brake there are many causes for this I changed all the speed sensors for 2nd time on Saturday it didn't turn out light car runs and stops fine there was no change in it at all after lights came on .

Popular Science magazine's Best Of What's New 2012 all ate up with cars

The automotive category did not go wanting for lauded advancements:

BMW considering North American engine plant?
Fri, 13 Dec 2013BMW may be set to expand its US operations with a new engine plant, Bloomberg reports. The Bavarian automaker already has its Spartanburg, SC factory which builds the company's X3, X5 and X6 crossovers. According to the story, Mexico is also under consideration for the BMW engine factory, with the report claiming a final decision will be made in 2014.
"Establishing local motor manufacturing abroad is more complex than assembling cars, but it's a logical step for them to eventually start making engines in markets where they're expanding vehicle production," Juergen Pieper, an analyst for Bankhaus Metzler tells Bloomberg. Building engines in the US or Mexico would save BMW from having to ship engines for some of its most popular models across the Atlantic.
BMW, for its part, hasn't said anything concrete. Spokesman Mathias Schmidt is quoted in the story saying, "As part of our long-term growth strategy, we're frequently looking at different countries for possible locations of future production facilities. No decisions have been made yet, though, for an additional plant."
BMW: i8 sold out, i3 records 10k orders
Mon, 25 Nov 2013Just in case anyone was wondering how plug-in BMW cars would be received, the answer is apparently "quite well." After speaking with BMW's global sales chief last week at the LA Auto Show, Reuters has learned that the plug-in hybrid i8 sports coupe is already sold out for its first year on the market.
There is no word as to how many i8s BMW sold, but the first example was delivered to a customer last week in Germany. As for the all-electric/range-extended i3 hatchback, the automaker has received more than 10,000 orders for this model before it even goes on sale. Likewise, we don't know how many BMW plans to sell, but we do know they'll be showing up in the US before next summer.
