I am selling my beloved 335i, this is my pride and joy and im sad to sell it.
Its time for me to upgrade to a porsche and im ready for the journey ahead. this car has been babied its whole entire life, the previous owner (whom i will give info on when car is sold) was a software engineer and quite frankly pretty rich. this was his wife's car while he was of course driving the very incredible Audi R8. (have plenty of pics from when i purchased lol) regardless, every time it needed service, it went in for service. never missed an oil change or any interval of due work. Basically money wasn't an option and i knew i was purchasing a great, highly maintained car. And because of that, i was extremely confident in buying the car from him. needless to say, its not let me down once. the car has been taken care by me since and performs flawlessly. id be willing to literally guarantee the car will not let you down. the car just drives that much confidence in you and has no problems what so ever! This car is fully loaded and has absolutely everything that you are looking for in a BMW Convenience package/ proximity keys: keep the key fob in your pocket and forget about it, car unlocks itself when you grab the door handle. PUSH BUTTON START. (our 2011 BMW X5 doesn't even have proximity keys) Cold weather package: Heated seats and windshield wipers Rain sensing windshield wipers: Very nice option LOGIC 7 Surround: one of the best BMW 13 speaker surround sound, high quality speakers you will ever hear. very crisp. Ambient Interior lighting: lighting around the entire door trim, very suttle at night and bmw couldnt have pulled it off any better. Automatic/ steptronic transmission with Paddle shifters: great function for any car enthusiast. Rear air controls: passengers will love you. BMW 19' special order rim $2500 option: these are extremely rare, i have personally never seen them on any other bmw and more than likely you are never gonna see them either. THIS CAR TURNS HEADS!!! Power everything: seats, lumbar control, reclining, mirrors, door locks, windows, ect Sunroof: nearly always open for me! Tires: Bridgestone potenza run flats on the front. tires have 85% tread left. if not more. LLUMAR window tint: Car just recently had all ignition coils, spark plugs, and all fluids changed. engine oil that is used has always been Mobil 1 0-40 European blend. car runs flawlessly and its guaranteed to put a smile on your face!!! im offering the car up for 17,300 obo, that is a HUGE savings off a brand new 335i or the all new 435i! this car has an original sticker price of $51,725. i am willing to ship the car, but id much rather have the buyer come and pick it up personally. BMW rolls out new M4 safety car for DTM
Mon, 05 May 2014Ever since revealing the M4 on nearly five months ago, BMW has been hard at work getting its new muscle coupe out on the track. It's made a touring-car version to compete in DTM and a safety car to set the pace at MotoGP races, and now it's combined both into a new safety car for DTM as well.
The ninth M4 on the DTM grid is based on the production version, but fitted with numerous upgrades over the course of a two-month conversion process. For starters, it's been equipped with nearly exterior component from the M Performance Parts catalog, including the quad-tipped exhaust, front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, blacked-out grille, special mirror caps, side sills... the works. But that's not the end of the story.
BMW M GmbH also gutted the interior, removing the rear bench and replacing it with a roll cage. It's got a pair of Recaro racing buckets with Schroth harnesses, plus special LED emergency lighting, radio communication system and, of course, special livery (albeit nowhere near as cool as the MotoGP one) to distinguish it as the official safety car when it makes its debut at the Nürburgring on August 17.
2014 BMW M6 Gran Coupe is ready for your favorite roads
Mon, 14 Jan 2013We've known about the ins and outs of the lovely BMW M6 Gran Coupe for a while now, but that doesn't mean we weren't happy to see the thing in the metal for the first time, here in Detroit.
The M-tuned Gran Coupe utilizes the same 4.4-liter forced-induction V8 that powers both the BMW M6 and the M5, with an output of 560 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The fast four-door brings up 60 miles per hour in just 4.1-seconds - the same sprint time as the M6 coupe and a few tenths quicker than the M5 - and up to a limited top speed of 155 mph.
We love those performance figures - this is one new Bimmer that we're amped to get some seat time in - though we're not super crazy about the selection of chrome wheels on this particular show car. Tells us what you think about the hotted up Gran Coupe in comments, below.
Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
