I am selling my 1989 BMW 325it that I Imported in May of this year. The car is overall in very good condition. I purchased the car the 3rd owner in the UK, which included a stack of maintenance records and MOT inspection records. The car has a clear Texas title in my name, that I have in hand. It is currently registered and has passed all required inspections. The car just clicked over 126K miles and is very original. It has original paint and interior surfaces, as well as the original engine and drivetrain. It is equipped with numerous european only options including the following: (there's probably more, but this is what I know)
Euro headlight wipers
European bumpers (I guess not really an option)
Original BBS RZ wheels (w/ matching spare)
3 Spoke leather sport steering wheel
Cargo area cover
Trailer hitch
Rear fog light

The car runs and drives fantastically. I had it looked over by a mechanic and had a full service done on it (oil, fuel filter, hydraulic fluid, etc), but it didn't need anything else mechanically. I did have the suspension replaced with OEM and sport pieces because the back was sagging a bit. It handles great now, has a smooth ride that isn't harsh in the least, but corners very well and is a blast to drive. The transmission shifts well, though it takes a little getting used to shifting with your left hand! The timing belt has been replaced, and the brakes have recently been serviced. The differential cover had a little surface rust which I cleaned up and treated.

The interior is in remarkable condition. It looks very good, not just for it's age, but generally speaking. The leather still smells new, has no rips or tears or real wear to speak of. The dash has no cracks at all. There's no evidence of cigarette smoke. The only issue is with the sunroof - the right side cable is broken and there's some fingerprints on the sunroof cover. My mechanic told me that a replacement cable is under $200. I planned to fix it myself, but haven't gotten around to it. There's also a small rip in the shift boot. Also includes a hard plastic cargo area liner and all original manuals etc.

The exterior is in very good condition as well. There's no rot or anything, just a couple of rust spots that were treated and touched up. I tried to take close-up pictures of any spots - there's one above the back roundel and on the driver's door about the size of a pea and right above the side skirt in the same area. There's a little chipping on the bumper around the wheelwell, but overall the paint shines and looks great.
The only other issue I can think of is the rear brake pad sensor is faulty, but the pads are new.

Overall, this is a great car that would make a great driver and gets a lot of attention. It is located in Beaumont, Texas (about an hour east of Houston). I would encourage you to come take a look at the car before bidding, but I've tried to list all the imperfections, but I'm sure I've missed some and I'm sure there's some I'm unaware of. With that said, I'll be happy to answer any questions you have before the end of the auction. $1000 deposit is due by paypal within 24 hours of the auction close and the balance due before pickup via bank transfer, cashier's check, or cash. I've had a lot of questions about the undercarriage condition, so I put it on ramps today and took some pictures. Overall, there's no rust I could find on the undercarriage, only a few bolts and some small surface pitting on the A arms, but nothing serious, from what I could see.
