B7 Audi S4 Low Miles 6 Speed Manual Ivory Leather Nav Very Rare 2006 Prestige Pk on 2040-cars
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
RARE, LOW MILEAGE 2005.5 (B7 platform) AUDI S4 Prestige Package in Brilliant Red Exterior and stunning silver leather interior with hard to find factory carbon fiber trim. I am the third owner of this beautiful vehicle. The Audi recently passed PA emissions and inspection. I planed on trading it in on our the new vehicle for our family, but I feel based on the service history, low mileage, condition, color combo rarity, and care put into this vehicle the dealerships offer was unacceptable and I could do better selling it outright. The interior is 99% perfect. Look at the driver’s seat for instance, there is not even a single love handle mark in the leather. There is not a single wear mark on any buttons surface and all electrical functions work. Many of you may ask, is this car really that hard to locate? Well, search Autotrader using this criteria: 2005.5 to 2008, 6-speed manual, under 75,000 miles, with navigation. There are less than 12 for sale total in the U.S.! Of the 12 or so listed not one is asking under $20k. Now if you want red, coupe, premium package…this is the only one. That being said, within the last 3,000 miles the following items have been serviced:
Aftermarket items include (all completed within the last 10k, costing around $7000 total in parts alone)
Feel free to contact me for a phone number. I AM NOT DEALER, and tire kickers are not appreciated. NO TRADES, again, only selling to do a little better than the dealer trade in offer. No hurry to sell, so lowballers please look elsewhere. Clear title. All receipts for work included. No pets, no smoking, no odors, garage kept. Overall, a exceptionally clean car. I reserve the right to end the auction early or sell locally, so if interested, please make me a (reasonable) offer. If you want a PPI, that’s fine. I will be happy to take the car to the local ASE mechanic who has previously inspected the car to verify its excellent condition. Also, in full disclosure the dealership we were going to trade it in too found that the first owner of this vehicle was in a very low speed parking lot fender bender and the rear bumper was replaced. According to the insurance report it was a very minor collision and the air bags did not deploy and no mechanical or frame/structural items required repair, only cosmetic (i.e. new plastic bumper). Audi did an excellent job replacing the bumper w/a oem one and obviously it never created any issues for the second or third owner (us). We didn’t even know the damage occurred since the auto check report didn’t show the cosmetic repair when we bought the car. Again, a very clean car inside and out. One other note, the pictured 19” wheels are now sold. The car will include the chrome avant wheels. I am open to offers, but will not entertain hagglers or unreasonable requests. If you think this is not the car for you, or an unfair offering, then please and respectably by all means look elsewhere. THANK YOU!!!! |

2017 Audi S5 First Drive
Tue, Jun 21 2016Let's start with the obvious elephant in the room: The new 2017 Audi S5 looks mostly like the model it replaces. Is that a bad thing? We headed to Portugal to test out the S5 on that country's serpentine back roads, and to see if there's something more substantive behind its evolved exterior. Only compared to the decidedly more evocative Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe does the svelte S5 come across as a little frumpy. It takes parking the new S5 next to the old one to spot the details. A tweaked profile. A more pronounced belt line. A power-dome hood. Narrower A-pillars. The new S5 is different, but the same, in that grand Audi tradition. Underhood, the differences are again evolutionary. The original S5 featured a 4.2-liter, naturally aspirated V8. A few years back, that was replaced by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, which in turn has been supplanted in the 2017 S5 by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. The turbo, a twin-scroll unit nestled between the cylinder banks, helps the direct-injection engine make a healthy 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. That power, 21 hp and 44 lb-ft more than its predecessor, is channelled through Quattro all-wheel drive. The newly developed V6 mates exclusively to a conventional eight-speed automatic, which seems like a step backward. Last year's S5 offered either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. We pressed Audi and got the answer we expected: Demand for the stick was nonexistent outside the United States (go America!) and the dual-clutch couldn't handle the 44 pound-foot increase in torque. Curiously, the A5 on which the S5 is based trades last year's eight-speed autobox for a seven-speed dual-clutch. It sounds like someone at Audi put the wrong transmission in each car, but in reality the S5's torquey engine is well-suited to the refined eight-speed. Kick the throttle, get into boost, and all four drive wheels scrabble for traction, especially on the wet pavement we encountered outside of Porto, Portugal. Punch the S5 to pass on a tight two-lane road and the sport exhaust roars with the kind of guttural growl we want to hear in a sporty coupe. It positively scoots. Though its Volkswagen MLB 2 platform is new, the S5 rides and handles like a more refined version of its predecessor. Considerably less road rumble penetrates the cabin, and the S5 strikes a pleasant balance between grand-touring plush and sports-car firm.
Audi unveils its Doberhuahua Super Bowl commercial
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With Super Bowl Sunday less than a week away, this week is going to be dominated by anything and everything football related. That includes advertising and the auto industry, as some of the biggest players prepare to launch multi-million-dollar spots hawking their latest and greatest products.
A veteran of Super Bowl ads, Audi's history has been rather checkered, ranging from controversial to funny to Jason Statham. We aren't entirely sure where to place this year's ad. The German brand has released a pair of teaser videos on the so-called Doberhuahua, a crossbreed of a Doberman Pinscher and a Chihuahua. Now, we have the full spot.
We get the message Audi is going for - compromise is bad - but delivering it via a slobbery, mutant dog strikes us as trying a bit too hard to be funny. Take a look below and let us know what you think of the Audi's Doberhuahua spot. And of course, you'll be able to see the new ad come Sunday, when it airs during the Super Bowl.
How does a 600-HP Audi RS6 Avant Plus sound to you?
Tue, 29 Jan 2013The 2013 Audi RS6 Avant was announced back in December with a twin-turbo V8 cranking out 560 horsepower, but Car is reporting that this badass grocery getter could get even more power with a new Plus model. In a conversation with Car, Stephan Reil, Audi's top guy at its Quattro GmbH division, told the magazine that the RS6 Avant Plus would produce around 600 horsepower, and it sounds like there is a growing family of RS Plus models being planned as well.
Aside from the more powerful engine, the specifics of the RS6 Avant Plus are unknown, but we'd suspect some weight-savings measures and updated features for improved handling. Like recent RS Plus models such as the TT RS Plus and R8 Plus, the RS6 Avant Plus will not be a limited-production unit when it goes on sale (most likely for the 2014 model year).
