CLEAN CARFAX. CLEAN TITLE. This car is in GREAT shape!! It was my daily driver, but was garage kept. I have all the maintenance records on hand. Chances are, if you're looking at this car, you already know what you need to know, but if not, let me be the first to tell you, this is an AMAZING machine!! It's got the same 4.2L V8 that is in the original R8 and puts out 420 BHP Naturally Aspirated with a 12.5:1 compression ratio!!! Couple that with AUDI's legendary Quattro AWD system, and you've got one hell of a driving experience!! I have loved every minute of driving this thing, and the only reason I even considered selling it is because of a change in the family financial situation. The car is seven years old and has the normal wear and tear you'd expect of a car that age… rock chips, leather wear (no rips/tears/holes), etc, but once you put your foot into the accelerator you'll forget all of that!! Audi designs science fiction car for Ender's Game movie [w/video]
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Audi is no stranger to product placement in movies, but the upcoming sci-fi adventure movie, Ender's Game, will be the first time the German automaker has ever unveiled a "purely virtual" vehicle design in a movie. As the movie's star car, the futuristic Audi fleet shuttle quattro was created by Audi Design as a "vision for the future world."
This new movie car comes almost 10 years after one of our favorite Audi movie cars ever, the Audi RSQ that was prominently used in the 2004 sci-fi action film, I, Robot. Looking back, the RSQ obviously used cues from the Audi R8, but it's unclear if the fleet shuttle quattro has any design implications for future Audi production models.
The movie, based on the best-selling novel of the same name, stars Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield, and it premiers in the US on November 1. Audi has provided images of the fleet shuttle quattro, and Summit Entertainment has released its latest trailer for the movie, which is posted below along with an Audi press release.
Audi design chief Egger leaving for Italdesign Giugiaro
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Wolfgang Egger, Audi's chief designer, is leaving the company according to a Automotive News Europe, which cites a report from Germany's Automobilwoche. Egger won't be going far, though, remaining within the Volkswagen family and taking up head design position Italdesign Giugiaro, a VW subsidiary as of 2010.
Egger took over the position at Audi from Walter de Silva, and has been responsible most recently for the Audi A6 and A3, as well as the 2010 Quattro Concept and the E-Tron Concept. He previously was head of design at Lancia and then at Alfa Romeo, where he was responsible for the achingly gorgeous 8C Competizione.
If Egger does move to Italdesign, his successor is likely to be Marc Lichte, the Volkswagen designer behind the current Golf. Of course, these personnel changes haven't been officially confirmed, and Audi is thus far refusing to comment on either Egger or Lichte's possible career shifts. We'll stay with this one, so sit tight.

No, make that two of them, one black and one white, playing paintball in an abandoned aircraft hangar. At this point, there's probably not more to add than "Watch the video below" while we get on the horn to find out how to get this as a factory option. And the wagon itself, since that's not coming here, either...
But what's cooler than two high-powered Audi wagons with paintball guns and push-button firing in a video set to cheesy music from a bad eighties rip-off of Top Gun?
