2000 ACURA TL 3.2 THIS CAR RUNS GREAT I USED IT DAILY . BOSE RADIO, LEATHER HEATED SEATS,ALL POWER , CRUISE CONTROL,AC BLOWS COLD HEATED MIRRORS,CD CHANGER. I HAVE INSTALLED NEW BATTERY, STARTER, BRAKES,THE ROTORS NEED TO BE CHANGED BUT WILL INCLUDE IN THE REAR ONES IN THE TRUNK, A PAIR OF NEW DRILL AND SLOTTED FOR THE BACK WITH A PAIR OF EXTRA FRONT BRAKES AND ALSO WILL LEAVE IN THE TRUNK NEW SPARK PLUGS, I DID A SEAFOAM CLEAN AND IT HAS A NEW THROTTLE BODY, NEW AIR FILTER,IT DOES HAVE A SMALL LEAK MAYBE FRO THE POWER STEERING CONTAINER. I AM NOT TO SURE I HAD THE BRAKES BLED AND THE ENGINE CLEANED UNDER NEATH BY THE DEALER THIS PAST TUESDAY TO SEE WHERE THE LEAK IS COMING FROM BUT LEAK GOT LESS IT HAS A DYE IN THE OILS TO SEE BUT HAVE NOT CHECKED. Acura releases yet another NSX track teaser vid
Sat, 03 Aug 2013On Sunday, August 4th (yep, that's tomorrow), a prototype version of the all-new Acura NSX will make its public track debut ahead of the Honda 200 IndyCar race. Acura has already given us a short video snippet to enjoy, but now it's added one more to get our hearts racing just a little more.
Before you watch it, make sure your speakers or headphones are turned up, because what the low-resolution video lacks in visual quality, it more than makes up for with its audio of the NSX's exhaust screaming as the car tackles Mid-Ohio. And at the end of the video, the caption reads "watch the NSX racing prototype take a lap."
Acura isn't joking either. From what we hear, the car is expected to take one lap before the race and then disappear for the weekend. Scroll down to see and hear the NSX in action.
2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid [w/video]
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Having already driven and reviewed the 2014 Acura RLX this year, colleagues Steven Ewing and Jeffrey Ross poured several thousand words into apprising it, then someone took the safety off the Comments and flipped them to "Fully Automatic" because those two reviews and four brief posts were hit by more than 1,200 of your deeply felt sentiments.
People care about Acura.
Roughly half of those comments were in reply to news of this car, the 2014 RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD, a sedan that intends to show that Acura cares, too. Underneath a skin almost imperceptibly different from the standard RLX, the one that has given us P-AWS (Precision All-Wheel Steer), is a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system that replaces the mechanical components it relies on in the TL and MDX with computerized sophistication and three electric motors. Top that off with more power, and the aim is to provide a machine that does a better job of getting Acura a starting spot in the premium luxury game than the erstwhile and now all-but-forgotten RL that the RLX replaces.
Acura TLX GT racecar to make motorsports debut at Detroit Grand Prix
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Acura debuted its TLX GT racecar at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, and it looks like the racer is set to get its first competitive outing in Motown as well. The RealTime Racing team is competing with a single car driven by Peter Cunningham for the Pirelli World Challenge rounds during the Detroit Grand Prix from May 30 through June 1.
Honda Performance Development is developing the TLX GT with a direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V6 engine, based on the production, naturally aspirated version, and all-wheel drive helps maintain traction. A second car is being added to the effort later.
The turbocharged Acura sedan will face competition in the series from vehicles like the Audi R8 LMS, Cadillac CTS-V, Dodge Viper, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 and more. With the Detroit Grand Prix hosting the sixth and seventh races in the Pirelli World Challenge GT class schedule, it doesn't seem that Acura is expecting to win the series in its debut season, but it will surely gain valuable experience.
