Here is a 2003 Acura TL in the best color combination. It is pearl white with a tan leather interior. It has just about every factory option except navigation. Power moon roof, automatic transmission, power windows, power heated leather seats, power mirrors, cruise control, alloy wheels, air bags, anti lock brakes, fog lights, keyless entry, and AM-FM-CD changer. Exterior:. The paint holds a nice shine and is very presentable. The body is straight as an arrow. There are NO dents or dings. The body is in excellent condition. A while back the car had a minor mishap. The right fender and bumper were repainted. This is indicated in the vehicle history report.. Interior: The interior is in excellent condition. The leather seats are in perfect condition.. Mechanical: The engine has plenty of power. The transmission shifts properly in all gears. The car drives smooth and straight on the highway. The heat and A/C work correctly. All power accessories operate correctly.. We had a mechanic inspect the vehicle prior to the sale. This was to insure a smooth and fair transaction for all parties. The inpection station found no mechanical issues. During that inspection the shop installed 4 Brand New tires, new wiper blades, and changed the oil. Payment: There is a $300 good faith deposit required to bid. . Acura teams with Galpin to sport-up the 2015 TLX
Wed, 05 Nov 2014Acura used the SEMA Show this week to remind enthusiasts that it still considers itself a performance brand, teaming with Galpin Auto Sports to build a TLX that highlights Acura's sporting and racing heritage.
The TLX is painted a deep shade of blue, called Andaro, and the color will be used on the NSX supercar when it returns to the United States in 2015. It rolls on custom gray wheels with gunmetal and "liquid smoke" pieces, and they're wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber. The exterior design is punched up with a body kit that adds side skirts, a rear spoiler and new bumpers to create a more sinister look.
The TLX has a sport suspension kit with coilovers with 36-way adjustable damping. There's also brake upgrades and custom exhaust outlets.
Acura puts on display of mechanical horsepower in new ad
Tue, 11 Feb 2014Originally forged with a brand identity based on luxury, sportiness and practicality, Acura has spent the last decade or so struggling with its image. The sporting credibility suffered a mighty blow with the loss of cars like the Integra, RSX and NSX, and recent years have seen the Japanese company attempting to recast itself as a technology leader.
All of that makes this latest Acura commercial, Let The Race Begin, even more difficult to understand, metaphorically speaking. The horsepower-horse race 'theme' certainly isn't difficult to fathom, with mecca-equine versions of popular luxury brands filling the screen. But the choice to make Acura's filly a flesh-and-blood creation seems odd, for the high-tech theme. Acura as "thoroughbred apart from the rest of the field" seems to be the rough message here, though we're not sure we're buying it. We're also not sure we're comfortable with how much these ponies reminded us of a certain off-putting robotic dog...

The cars that won't live to see 2015 [w/video]
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Every year in the fast-paced automotive industry brings new models, but it also spells the end for some that have been less successful. This year will be no exception.
Japan's automakers make up the bulk of the list of discontinued models for the 2015 model year: Acura is replacing the TL and TSX with the new TLX sedan, Honda is bidding farewell to the Fit EV as the new Fit hatchback takes its place, and Nissan is saying goodbye to both the Cube and Murano CrossCabriolet. Both the Nissan Maxima and Mazda2 exit stage left before their upcoming replacements arrive, while Toyota is terminating the RAV4 EV and FJ Cruiser as well as the Scion xD, and Lexus IS C and IS F that are being effectively replaced by the new RC. Meanwhile Infiniti is finally discontinuing the G37 that was already replaced by the newer Q50.
From our own domestic automakers, Cadillac discontinues the CTS-V sedan and wagon as the new CTS rolls in, Chevy is canceling the mild-hybrid Eco versions of the Malibu and Impala sedans, and Chrysler is killing off the 200 convertible as the new 200 sedan arrives.
