I am selling my like new, fully modified JDM inspired 1993 Acura Integra. There is way too much to list but I will try my best to convey what has been done and how much time/money has been put into this car. This is hands down the nicest custom DA9 you will find anywhere. I don't want to say this is the nicest, tastefully modified DA Integra in U.S. but it would definitely be on the top 10 list.

The JDM cluster says 302k miles but it looks like it has 60k miles. In all reality it has only 6k miles on it being as everything top to bottom is new. When I say that this car is in like new condition, I mean it! The body is perfect with no dings or dents and the paint is like new with few imperfections. The interior has no rips, tears, stains and is like new also. This car has won awards in a few shows and would be a perfect candidate for a tuner magazine article.

This car has power steering and a/c still unlike most imports that are this modified. It creates 230whp and does a mid 13 in the quarter(it would run a low 13 if it wasn't for all of the stereo equiptment and dynamat). This car was made for comfort and performance. This is a daily driven show car, not a track car.

It has only been adult owned and was built by the previous owner who is financially very well off. I am the fourth owner. The transmission has no grinds nor does the motor have any leaks. It runs and drives like new. Then again the car realistically only has 6k miles on it since everything has been replaced from drive train to suspension.

Performance:

Engine has about 6k miles on build, barely driven, all engine building was done correct with clearancing checked and assembly to OEM specifications. Engine built to run past 9000rpm and makes power thru 8900 rpm. Clutch and Timing Belt were replaced about 2k miles ago.

Drag DR16 16x7 +40 Gold

Hankook Ventus V2 205/45/16

Drag forged aluminum lugs (wheels, tires and lugs were $1,200 mount and balanced)

As you can see by the list there is too much work done to even try to explain. With everything listed, I have a total of $36,450 parts and labor. I know I am missing a lot of upgrades so you can probably add $2,000 more in parts and another $2,000 in labor that I didn't account for to install some of the other parts listed above. This is the last Integra like this you will find! Most tuners now days are modifying RSX's and newer Civic SI's.

This car is the cleanest you will find anywhere with all top of the line parts and work done by the best of the best professional installers and builders. The car is registered until May 2015 and won't need California smog for another 2 years. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to setup an appointment to view.

The wheels that you see in the pictures obviously aren't the Volk GT-n's but a set of brand new 16" Drag DR16's in gold wrapped in Hankook Ventus V2 tires(wheels and tires were $1,200). If you want the car with these wheels then the price will be $9,000 firm being as I can sell my Volks on the open market for at least $1,500. If you want both sets of wheels then the price is $10,300 firm. If you want the Volk wheels and not the Drag's then the price is $9,800 firm. The Volk wheels are shown in the last picture and are like new. The tires have 80% even tread all around.

Good things aren't cheap and cheap things are rarely ever good!

Acura replaces chief Accavitti with designer Ikeda

Tue, Jul 28 2015

Acura is shaking up its senior leadership, as Honda ushers the current chief of its luxury division out the door and replaces him with a new one. Exiting stage left is Mike Accavitti, who held the reins at the premium automaker as its senior vice president and general manager of the Acura division. Taking his place will be Jon Ikeda, one of the Japanese automaker's most senior designers. Accavitti (pictured above at left) had been promoted to the job from his previous position as senior vice president of auto operations after Honda separated the Acura brand into its own division. He had previously served as a senior executive at Chrysler, rising up the ranks to run the Dodge brand, and joined Honda in 2011 as its chief marketing officer. At this point it remains unclear why Accavitti is leaving and where he might land, but Honda says he's leaving the company altogether. To replace Accavitti, Honda has named Jon Ikeda (pictured above at right), a veteran designer with the company. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, Ikeda has worked for Honda on both sides of the Pacific since 1989. He previous headed up the design and product planning divisions at Honda's American R&D operations, and was instrumental in creating an independent design office for the Acura brand, separate from Honda's. This isn't the first time we've seen Accavitti replaced in his role as a senior executive by a design veteran. After only four months at CEO of the Dodge brand, he was replaced by Ralph Gilles, who retained his role as senior vice president of design for the entire Chrysler group in parallel. Gilles was ultimately replaced as head of Dodge as well, but was recently promoted to serve as head of design for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. July 27, 2015 – Acura today announced that Jon Ikeda has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the Acura Division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. In this role, Ikeda will oversee all Acura brand activities including sales, marketing and parts and service. Ikeda was formerly Division Director of Auto Design at Honda R&D Americas, Inc. (HRA). He began his career at Honda in Japan in 1989, joining the advanced design studio in Tokyo, where he worked on the award-winning Honda FSX show car. After six years in Japan, he returned to Los Angeles in 1995, to continue his career at Honda R&D in Torrance, California.

2020 Acura RDX Review and Buying Guide | Target re-acquired

Thu, Jul 25 2019

The 2020 Acura RDX is a bold compact luxury crossover that represents a return to its roots – providing some athleticism and adrenaline to a segment not known for either. We think this is a positive development, as the previous RDX lost its way a bit. However, that last RDXÂ’s biggest strength was its very spacious interior for its overall size, which carries over to the new version despite the increased athleticism. These arenÂ’t usually attributes that go together; sporty vehicles can be smaller, with poor space utilization. That isnÂ’t the case here. The turbocharged engine and advanced all-wheel drive system mean the RDX is as lively as any crossover buyer could want. The bottom line is that it has more character and a superior combination of attributes than many of its sport-luxury competitors. WhatÂ’s new with for 2020? The RDX carries over mostly unchanged for 2020 after receiving a complete redesign last year. ThereÂ’s a turbocharged engine under the hood again, instead of the V6 in the last-generation model, and the technologically-advanced Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system also makes a return. On the outside, the chrome grille “beak” has thankfully vanished, and thereÂ’s some nifty tech in the slick interior – although its signature touchpad infotainment controller is a mixed bag. More on that below. You can read about last year's changes more fully in our 2019 Acura RDX First Drive, but in short, it's sportier, more distinctive and more luxurious than its predecessor. Part of that is the fact it's no longer based on the same vehicle platform as Honda's CR-V.   View 9 Photos What are the interior and in-car technology like? The RDXÂ’s interior is a nice place to be. In the upscale A-Spec trim we tested, most surfaces are covered with soft, premium-looking materials, including perforated leather, soft-touch plastics, and classy-looking vinyl. The RDX introduces AcuraÂ’s True Touchpad Interface, which controls the infotainment system and its 10.2-inch screen with a center-console-mounted touchpad rather than a touchscreen interface. While itÂ’s certainly a step in the right direction, the system has a relatively steep learning curve and lacks any haptic feedback. ItÂ’s ultimately not as intuitive as weÂ’d like, and that is important because itÂ’s an interface youÂ’ll be using all the time in an RDX – including to interface with the standard Apple CarPlay functionality. Note that, as of this writing, Android Auto is not supported.

Acura bringing near-production-ready concept sedan to Pebble Beach

Fri, Mar 8 2019

Three years ago Acura turned many heads with the Precision concept. Said to be the future of Acura design language, the latest RDX crossover is the most full-bodied expression of the Precision Crafted Performance design language. The rest of the range has only gone as far as the Diamond Pentagon grille. That looks to change later this year, when Acura brings a near-production-ready four-door to Pebble Beach that's inspired by the Precision. Car and Driver, which got a peek into Acura's Southern California design studio, says the tea leaves "point to a new production Acura sedan in the Precision concept's gorgeous 'four-door coupe' form." Believing the Pebble display will be "a tribute to the best of Acura's past" and could presage a flagship to replace the RLX, C/D wonders if the carmaker won't reach into its deep past and resurrect the Legend name. That's seems a bit much, but we have only six months to wait. After that, the next-generation TLX sedan and MDX crossover will arrive, and are expected to wear Precision cues. Both are scheduled to make landfall at the end of this year or beginning of next year. Based on shapes bulging under taut covers, C/D says both will receive stretched front intakes and "hook-shaped, extruded taillights." A juiced TLX Type S with a ducktail spoiler appears to lurk in the near future, too. Eventually, the second coming of the ZDX crossover might get the nod as well. Acura sold the severely rakish crossover coupe from 2009 to 2013, well before crossover coupes had established themselves. Looking at what's happened in the past 10 years, the ZDX was either ahead of its time, or consumers only want diminished rear headroom from German crossovers; no Japanese luxury maker has yet put a sloped roof on one of its crossovers. That means if a new ZDX does come, it could be just as novel the second time as it was the first.Related Video:
