Reviews:

Horrible car shopping experience at this dealership. I spent a while looking around at cars on the lot and was not very impressed by their "competitive" prices. Their sales manager "Tony" actually was scolding his staff in front of customers (that`s a no-no, I don`t care about the inner workings of your business). I ultimately purchased my vehicle elsewhere for ALOT less than this places "low... view moreest prices". I`d stay away from this place unless you either like witnessing hostility in the workplace or like paying too much for things.

I have rated this dealer as ab...
I have rated this dealer as above due to a completely inadequate and incompetent Service Department, who`s main concern is profit, not customer service. I purchased my "Certified" 2006 Dodge Charger RT from Fair Oaks Chrysler in late October 2011. I had a good sales experience with Tony and got a fair deal on a Dodge certified used car that I had saved for two years to purchase. This is where the good ... view moreexperience completely died. Immediatly after purchasing the vehicle, the car began to stall while driving and the instrument panel lights were out. I scheuled an appointment with the service department, thankfully the certified warranty covered a rental while the car was in te shop. Three days later I recieved a call indicating that the repairs to the instrument panel had been made, but the tech could not find a stalling problem. I picked the car up. By the end of the week, I filled the gas up in the car and immediatly had the stalling problem again. I did research on the internet and found out the likely issue was a faulty ventalation issue and the gas tank needed to be replaced. As it was around the holidays I made an appointment with the Service department in mid-Jan to get an oil change and get the stalling problem repaired. When I dropped the car off, I told them about my research and got another rental car. Ignoring my research, the service department decided to replace emmissions control parts and a condensation canister. Of course the problem persists and I just don`t want to take it in for a 3rd time to this dealer, especially because around this time I got notification from Avis rental car informing me that my account was sent to collections as the dealership did not pay for my rental car bill from the service in October. I finally made another appointment for a scheduled oil change in late March (conviently 7 weeks after the full certified warranty ended). After waiting for my oil to be changed for two hours, finally a service advisor came out with a long list of problems with the car...3 wheel bearing assemblies were bad (The rear extremely bad), Spark Plugs needed to be replaced, intake needed service, and the battery connections are bad. All of which quoted at over $2,500! I declined the service as it seemed very fishy to get this quote right after the experation of the warranty, none of which was identified to me just a month or so earlier (when the warranty would have covered). I took the car to an idependent service center that I trust. The repair shop confirmed the repair needs and added that "more than likely all of these problems existed since I bought the car, meaning that the issues existed in the car when I bought the car! As you can expect I was livid that I had been driving my two kids in a car with three bad wheel bearings. I don`t know if the dealer knew, or just glossed over the certification process? I spoke to every manager at the dealership, further wasting hours of my time only for them to not make the situation right and make the repairs (all the while, the stalling is still happening) Further, the dealer, has told me that they can`t fix the problems because they would then have to do that for every customer.....yeah, well, I agree they should be honest when selling cars, don`t you? By the way, my account is still in collections with the rental car agency. The best the GM could offer me was half off the service...wow! I just spent 20k on a car that I thought was mechanically sound, thats not enough though, they need an additional $700 to repair wheel bearings that should have been in good condition when I bought the car. This car experience has been a nightmare, stay away from this dealership, you will regret doing business with them. Countless hours waiting, calling, and researching later I have no resolution. Only one option remains, consulting a lemon law attorney.

Great recovery
On Tuesday, with(Barbara Fisk), I had the car diagnosed for $110. I was told 2 hours labor at $110/hr and diagnostic fee would be waived, if they did the work. I was looking for specific plug and asked if I would only be charged labor if I brought in my own parts. She answered YES. So I got the parts and put half of them on myself. On leaving I paid the diagnostic fee. On Thursday I asked Barbara if she would st... view moreill wave the diagnostic fee and she said YES. Then I explained that I had replaced half the plugs and wires myself so could she just charge me an hour for the other 3. (6 cylinder) She said YES. I said great and they did the work. When I get the bill it is for $110.00. She couldn`t understand that I had paid the diagnostic fee from the previous day and that should be credited and applied to the 1 hour labor charges. When we spoke with manager (Chris Morrison), he said 1 cylinder or 6, the price is the same. I explained to him that is not what she just promised me before the work was done. First he tried to tell me what she said when he wasn`t even there. I explained again that she specifically told half the labor since i did half the plugs and wires myself. He didn`t care one bit. On leaving I (unhappily) paid for another $110.00 $220.00 for 3 plugs and wires Update: General Manager refunded my money and was very nice.
