Be WEAR, you get what you pay for!!! I got a coupon on Groupon for an alignment took it to the South location and had my car damaged by an incompetent driver. They insist that it did not happen at there location but I know it did. They refuse to show me the video for that day even though I called them out on it on the same day. It took over a week for Jonathan to get with the powers that be to "make things right... view more for me" he also asked me to not write a negative review on them. I was told by Jonathan to take my car to the 41st Street Location to get an estimate, where I spoke to Allen, who to date has not called me to let me know what the decision was regarding fixing my car, he is always not in or busy. I however have been in contact with Roland who presented him self to be a manager but who has no customer service skills and is always giving me attitude. He stated that they are willing to fix my car "patch up the scratches if you will" but will not pay for a rental because quote: they didn`t cause the damage. Word of advice if you are going to trust your property to any business make sure you take before and after pictures and have them log in any noticeable damage is present.

I like these guys a lot i have been
I like these guys a lot i have been here about 4 times in the past two years and steven has always taken care of me and the service is great. The wait time some times is a little slow but there are so many customers getting there work done and i am not an early riser. If i was i might be able to get my car out quicker. They have a beautiful waiting room. I highly recomend them.

Lacking
Groovy auto was nothing but trouble. First they tried charging me $350 for breaks when I brought my own shoes in. When I said I would leave they knocked it down to $150. At a more reasonable price and other positive reviews I decided to stick around, big mistake. They botched a timing belt and water pump replacement. Fast forward 7 months and I got oil leaking all under the hood. All the belts got oil on them... view more so I had to replace all the belts including the timing belt. In the end all the work Groovy did had to be completely done again. $1000 plus dollars down the drain. Then they gave me the ring around when I tried getting their `warranty` to cover the expenses. They gave me false claim line phone numbers to call and they refused to send me any documentation proving Groovy was actually covered by Napa`s auto server. Many times they `forgot` to call me back. And Tom, the `manager` refused to speak with the next auto mechanic to hear about why all the parts had to be replaced and how much Groovy botched the job. Groovy failed to follow Honda`s recommended parts replacement procedure. Some of my buddies @ AMD and Spansion went to Groovys based on my past positive recommendation. I`m glad I will now be able to add new details to my prior recommendation and save a few of them from going to Groovy in the near future

!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!! Liars/Scammers/Crooks
I went into this place on February 24, 2010. I went up to the main counter and asked a kid at the counter ""Miguel"" how much it would be for a front and rear brake job. He said, ""anywhere between $225-$250."" I said okay great is that total? He said ""Yes"". I left the store, called my husband, we decided together that was a pretty good deal and I decided to go back after picking my son up from school. I came ... view moreback at about 3:20pm, as soon as I walked in Miguel recognized me and told me to head to the back of the store to speak with Tom. I walked to the back where I spoke with Tom and he gathered all of my information for the repair. At no time during my interaction with Tom did he once say a price. I then sat and waited for 2 hours for my vehicle to be done. Miguel called me up to the counter and said ""okay you are all ready to go"" and hands me a bill for $416+, as you can imagine I was SHOCKED, I said um this isn`t mine. The name was checked and I was told yes this is your bill. I said well that is not at all what you quoted me. And from that point on I was treated like a liar and like I did something wrong. They gave me a small discount which totaled the bill to $370.66 and said I had to pay it. I asked that the surveillance footage be reviewed to prove what I was told. Miguel told me I could come back in the morning to review this footage. I called the store at about 8am on 2/25/11. I spoke with Miguel who is now claiming to be a Manager, he puts me on hold and Tom gets on the line and is claiming to be a manager as well. Tom informs me that I cannot come in and watch the footage, the video is not recorded with sound and ""if you step one foot on my property I will call APD and have you arrested"". At not one point in any of my contacts with these men have I raised my voice, said one curse word or been anything but professional with them and this is how they treat me!!! I put my husband on the line with them and they hung up on him, he called back and they hung up on him again. I attempted to call and they hung up on me as soon as I started to speak. I called another location and got the number for the ""district manager"" Jim. I called Jim and was told he would do research and call me back. He called me back and said I miss heard them and they did not tell me what I was claiming they did. He said I could not watch the video`s and that they do not record sound so they would do me no good. He was rude and condescending and said I could not have the number to Corporate office or the owner and he was the highest up I could speak with. I went online and found a number for a main office, called the number and spoke with Pam, she informs me that yes the video does have sound and she is going to review it and call me back. It is now Sunday, 3 days later and I still have heard nothing!

Beware Deceptive Business Practices
So my wife decided to get the brakes done today. We live south and had passed it many of times. It is never busy and she thought she would just be in and out. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!! I can`t stress enough how deceptive they were. So she goes to the counter to ask a guy named Miguel how much it would be to get the front and rear brakes done on our van. Miguel responded ""anywhere between $225-$250."" She asked total? Mig... view moreuel said ""YES"". She just wanted to make double sure because; I told her that if it was going to cost anymore than that I would do it myself. So at some point into the repair she calls me and tells me that the rear brakes are fine and do not need to be replaced. Confused because I have heard grinding from the rear brakes from time to time, she offered to let me talk to TOM to explain the situation to me. So he tells me that the rear brake pads look fine and that the cylinder was leaking and that they would just clean it up and it should come out less than the $225-$250 (originally quoted price). I was shocked the rear drum brakes didn`t need to be replace because our van has 175,000 miles and the brakes had never been replaced. Surprised and shocked I said ok and took him for his word. After the repair TOM hands her the bill it says $420!!!! She politely says I think you gave me the wrong bill. TOM responds your Heather right? She responds and proceeds to question him because she only authorized a total charge of $250 max at this point. She questioned the pricing and was told it was $250 per axle. She told TOM that Miguel quoted her $225-$250 for the total repair, Tom called her a liar and brought Miguel over and asked him. He bold face lies and said he quoted her per axle. She asked Tom if their video system recorded audio as well, TOM replies yes but refused to pull the tape to listen to the conversation with Miguel. All I can say is THESE PEOPLE ARE THE MOST DECEPTIVE AND SHADY PEOPLE I HAVE DEALT WITH....I should have just stayed with NTB.. They have always been honest with me and have never made any repairs without my or my wifes approval. ***Updated*** Filed a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General may be next.

Ticked off Mom
My daughter just took her car there with a dead battery. They tried to charge her $80 to ""diagnose"" and install a battery. The manager ""Tom"" said this was a fair price because he had to ""take the car apart"" to install the battery. Looked on Youtube and watched a video on how to install a battery on a PT Cruiser. All you have to do is take of the air intake cover and air filter off. The cover is held on with a s... view morecrew. That is what he calls taking apart the car. I called Autozone on Congress. They said they would install the battery for free. This place is a total rip off and very dishonest!!!!
