I feel this shop treated us fairly & the service was exceptional. The service writer kept me up to date & was very respectful. They let me make payments & in difficult times like these that makes all the difference in the world. Andy or Matt if you read this review thank`s guys for helping me out when I was in a bind. My transmission went out on my home from work and when I took it to my regular mechanic he could not figure out what the probem was. I found Snider Transmission on line and they towed my car to their shop for free.

They diagnosed my car and worked with me on the price. They replaced my transmission with one they rebuilt themselves. There were some issues with the transmission and my car took longer than expe... view morected to repair. They provided me with a rental car, for free, and when I informed them I had to take out insurance on the rental because I only have liability they also picked up the tab for the insurance on the rental.

Easy, no hassle repair. This place really worked with me. I called them on a Sunday. They picked my car up that day, called me Monday, gave me a diagnosis, gave estimate same day, called me a day later & told me it was ready. I did not expect this type of service to be so easy. They know how to run a business. I definitely recommend them.

I recently had my elderly fathers car repaired at this location. They took care of the repair in a timely manner. The staff was very informative & polite. Andy did a great job with keeping me informed with updates on the status of the repair. It is so hard to find trustworthy people now days to work on your vehicle but after meeting these folks I have total trust in this shop. I would highly recommend them.

I would and have recomended Snider Transmission to all of my closest friends and family. About 6 months ago i was down on my luck and on top of that my transmission goes out and needs to be entirely reconstructed. This shop is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Even a year later! My transmission began to act up and the warranty had expired. Not knowing what to expect, Matt, Andy and the service team there were more than willing to make the necessary repairs at no cost even though my warranty was up. I had problems with my transmission so I called a friend that I trusted and he recommended Snider Transmission in League City. I was aware of where the shop was but knew nothing more. When I arrived I talked to Andy who assured me they would take a look at the car for ""free"". A short while later I got a call and it was bad news the car needed further diagnostics that would cost more money. Matt assured me this wo... view moreuld be necessary in order to find out what was going on. I was deeply concerned but went with it. We talked about replacing the transmission with a rebuilt one and also other options that I could take. Matt did not try to sell me a rebuilt as he felt it would not add any value to the car or give me a better transmission. The price for a Honda transmission was being quoted at $3,500 and the repair I was quoted was way less. Matt assured me he would put in writing everything that was done in servicing the cars transmission and he did just that.

A few days later I picked up the car and took it on the ultimate test drive. I first drove the car to my work and then latter to Dallas. I had no problems the car works fine. There are no more lights coming on the dash and I have a great warranty.

Based on all of this I would recommend Snider. It was family owned, they specialize in Honda`s and Toyota`s and they offer you a rental if you need it. They serviced only what I needed and did not try to sell me more than what I needed to get the car back on the road.

I brought my car here after I felt my tran slipping or hopping in first gear. They told me its was a simple fix and I could have it back in a couple of hours.
