Rude!. Rude.! Rude.!

These are the rudest people I have EVER had to deal with!!! I call up there & they ASSUME I`m someone else. Then don`t apologize for basically accusing me of wasting their time. They FINALLY get my part in.. (transmission)... Over 2wks later. It`s the Tuesday a week before memorial day, & apparently the whole freaking shop is taking the next week, through NEXT tuesday off... For the holiday... Wth? When I exp... view moreress my unhappiness with this response.. (Mind you this is going on almost 3 weeks now, with out my van & they dont have loaners...) I am told that its not their fault. Super snotty. Super rude! I`m in customer service myself & that kind of attitude would have LONG gotten me fired!!! Never will I EVER go to this establishment again!!! They won`t be starting the work on my van until next Wednesday or Thursday.. Hopefully get it bck nxt Friday going on a MONTH after I brought it to them!!! ? This is getting reported to the BBB stat!!!!?

Most dishonest people EVER

I took my car there to have the timing belt and valve cover gasket changed. They marked all their parts up 30-40% installed NAPA parts, and charged dealership rates for parts AND labor. a week later the valve cover was STILL leaking oil, so I took it back. they asked ME to wash the engine so they could see where the oil was leaking from. (i refused to wash the engine, and showed them where it was leaking) a mont... view moreh later the valve cover was still leaking oil, so I took it off myself, and they never replaced it. they just put the old one back on, and charged me a $20 shop fee. STAY AWAY FROM EVERYTHING AUTOMOTIVE!

I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY tha...

I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY that people had negative things to say about this shop. I have been taking my car to them for years, so I`ll tell you what this shop is REALLY like. I`m a broke college student, so they have always helped me to get the best deals in the following ways: -they have a AAA discount -they have a student discount -they shop around for the best priced parts to save money (in one instance, they tal... view moreked to a car electronics place for me and got a huge discount on the parts/labor) -they have done some labor/parts for free because I`ve needed such major repairs and spent a ridiculous amount of money to keep my car running. Furthermore, they have helped me out of so many scrapes with my old, crappy car. The car I used to have broke down all the time. My car broke down on Hwy 35 and I managed to get it to a gas station 30-40 miles away from Duluth. I called them as soon as they opened and they drove all the way to the gas station to pick it up for me and didn`t charge me for it, even though AAA said they wouldn`t cover it. My car broke down on my way to school and they drove down and brought it back to their shop and fixed it while I was at class all day. They didn`t charge me for that tow, either. I have gone to them for everything from oil changes to replacing structural things with my car and they have always pulled through for me. They have NEVER stolen anything from me, even when I have left valuables in my car. They have always gone above and beyond in every aspect to make sure I have the best possible experience with their shop and with their towing service.

Rude and unreliable

Everything Automotive performed a routine oil change on my car. Then, when my drain plug fell out causing my oil to drain out which resulted in the engine overheating and burning a hole through the engine, they wanted nothing to do with me. I called and explained my situation and rather than explaining to me why the problem was not their fault, (which my other mechanic assured me it was) the manager yelled at me for ... view moretwenty minutes. He wanted nothing to do with me and was exceptionally rude. Instead of behaving professionally and looking at the problem objectively, all he was concerned about was distancing my problem from his shop. NOT a quality I look for in a mechanic. If I could give negative stars I would. I have dealt with MANY mechanics and this shop was by FAR the worst. Please, for the sake of your car, avoid Everything Automotive at all costs.

No BS Mechanics who get the job done right the first time!

Recently I was having some transmission problems with my `01 Sunfire. I wasn`t sure if it was going to be worth fixing, knowing the age and value of my car. I`m glad I called around because Everything Automotive quoted me the best price and they got me in right away. This was about 2 months ago and I haven`t had any problems since, and the fact that they warranty their work gives me that extra peace of mind. I only put 4 stars because their shop is a little grungy on the outside, but rest assured the work they do inside is 5 stars! I was pretty surprised to read the other review on this site; it just doesn`t sound like something Jad (the owner) and the other guys would do over there. Don`t do business with them!?ˆ?

I was in a head on car accident and this company was called to pick up my car from the accident site. I will never give them my business again. It`s their company policy to not let you retrieve your belongings from your vehicle in an accident situation. They wouldn`t allow me to pick up my child`s car seat until the person who hit me`s insurance paid them the towing and storage fee. I was finally able to get the car ... view moreseat after the Duluth Police department called and spoke with them. I had to pay the towing fee of $90 and then they refused to give me a receipt (found out later it was so they could also bill the insurance company for the towing fee.) When I was able to retrieve my belongings the car had already been rummaged through. My GPS and CD`s were stolen. They claim the car was broken into but when we went to pick up the items the doors were locked and the windows were not broken. The car was stored in a fenced and locked lot with video cameras.
