Reviews:

I have used them and that guy is good!!
I called automedics I had a electrical problem 2 other shops couldnt repair . Mike hooked up his computer and printed out a wiring diagran of my electrical system. It took him minutes to find the problem when I have spent $781.00 already . He repaired the short at my fuse box and my 2006 Saab was on the way he only charged me $100 for a service call and the repair plus he gave me a relay for my fuel pump for free. I ... view morewould recommend this man to anyone he really knows what hes doing and saved me money on a wrecker call. He has a van with all his diagnostic tools inside.?

Bad Business
On Friday October 30, 2009 my 1991 Nissan Stanza was having starter problems. It would not start at 6803 Waters Ave. Savannah, GA 31405 after paying my rent. I called Automedics the next morning of Saturday October 31, 2009 at 912-507-4445 and spoke to the owner/operator Mr. Mike Dejohn and explained the problem. Mr Dejohn arrived about an hour later and explained to me that my starter was faulty but that he would ge... view moret my car to start. He used a hammer and tapped my starter and told me to crank my car while he was tapping. My car quickly started and I was elated. I told Mr. Dejohn that I would like him to replace the starter so that the problem would not happen again. He told me there was no need to replace it because it was unlikely that the problem would happen again for ""Quite a while"". Mr Dejohn assured me that if it would happen that he would come and replace the starter for free whenever I purchased a new one. I asked him his charge and he said $50.00. I gave him $60.00 and drove home. My starter did the same thing about three more times and I tapped it with a hammer myself and it started. Until Teusday November 3, 2009 when trying to leave from work my car did not start even after tapping it with my hammer. I called Mr. Dejohn and he stated that he had a new starter in his shop for my car and that he would put his starter on for $200.00. I desperately accepted due to it being already 5:00 in the afternoon. Mr. Dejohn arrived and attempted to put an obviously used (due to the oily appearence) starter on my car. When he attemped to start it it made a terrible metalic clanking noise as it was spinning. After attempting to start the car for about five minutes he stated ""Yeah we better get a new one"". He drove me to Advance Auto parts on 2815 Montgomery St. Savannah GA. Store #9726 where I purchased a starter Item #16928 Transaction #3980 at 5:43 PM. We returned to my vehicle where Mr. Dejohon began placing the new starter on my car. He stated that I only had one bolt in my starter when he took it off but that he had one in his van that might work. After about 20 minutes he told me to crank my car. It started immediately. I asked him how much do i owe him and he stated ""Boss whatever you think its worth"". I gave him $60.00 and asked him was that enough and he said thats fine. On Sunday November 09, 2009 at around 9:00 PM I was going to Wal-Mart to get some items. When I tried to start my car it turned over the engine and then went off and began making a drilling type noise. I lifted the hood and it sounded like it was comming from the starter`s area. I disconnected my battery and it stopped. I called Mr. Dejohn and he said that the starter must have been faulty and that he was on the way and that he would call me when he was close. Being that he stays only 5 minutes away from where I live I called him after an hour had passed and asked that he wait until morning because if the starter was faulty then Advance Auto Parts was closed and it could not be returned until morning. He agreed and stated that he had had a couple of drinks anyway. I called Mr. Dejohn at 8:00 AM the next morning November 09, 2009 and he answered the phone with ""**** boss you gone call me all day!"" I quickly apologized and asked was it too early to call. He stated ""Its 8:00 in the morning **** yeah its too early."" I apologized again and he stated that he would call when he was on the way. That was the last I heard from Mr. Mike Dejohn.
