IN 2005 3 days after they did my brakes on my vt700 the rear brakes was making a grinding noise took it back and they said I needed a $475 rear wheel when i asked why now and not 3 days ago NO ANSWER and htey did now show me so I took to another dealer paid them $29 and there was a screw in brake drum.went back and tolds the owner no answer so I bought my VTX1300 at the other dealer for $1000 less than here. So my VT... view moreX started having start problems so I called them just last week they came and picked it up and I was told by Jim the owner "we will find it and fix it" NOPE again but I was charged $115 for charging my battery which had nothing to with the problem. I called my other dealer and over the phone after only 2 questions I was told what the problem was and the fix for FREE. also Simi was going to put 2 new tires on my bike till they told me $490 for the tires that at the other dealer were only $288 out the door yes same tires...SO Simi valley Honde I will never go to again they are a RIP OFF BIG TIME..Stay as far away from this place as you can

That good ol` shop feel
I have been a customer of Simi Honda for a few years now. I have had all of my Sea-Doo`s and dirt bikes serviced there. The service manager is very helpful in giving me different options to take when servicing any of my units. My parts are always on time and I am always pleasantly surprised when I don`t have to pay for shipping on my parts that are typically here the next day from a local warehouse.
I recently st... view moreopped to look around the shop and noticed many posters, magazines, and stickers referring to CORVA (California off-road vehicle association). When I asked what this organization was about I was pleased to find out that the owner Jim Woods is president of CORVA. He wasn`t in the shop when I was there because he was at a meeting to help keep the deserts open. I realized that not only do these people work on bikes and sell the products they have a passion for riding. Since this recent discovery off CORVA I have joined and have also attended some of the events.
I highly recommend going there for all your motorcycles and Sea-Doo needs.

Not a place to go if you need guidance
i did not like the store because the only person in attendance did not care to even come out of his desk to help me. I was beginning my search for a scooter and wanted to see as many as I could for comparison. Guess what? I never even considered a Honda because this guy (older one) never cared to talk to me. I asked about SYM and KYMCO --if they had any, and he said eh did not know what that was... OK, I know, it is ... view morea Honda dealer, but many dealers carry other brands or at least know about them to start a conversation about theirs. In summary, I left without looking at the HOnda scooters because the man was not interested din hyping the Honda scooters. If you have already made your research and KNOW you want a Honda, you go there, if not, skip them? I finally bought a SYM scooter,

Poor Service
In working with this company (one bike purchase, and service on three others) I have come to the conclusion the their overall philosophy is one of ""making excuses"" and not feeling compelled to see what they can do, only what they cannot do. I have had my bikes serviced or repaired here about five times. Not once have they completed the work on time, were the costs in line with their estimates or made any attempt ... view moreto make up for bad service - even when the would freely admit the service was poor. With the fact that there is no Honda competition, they may feel it is unneeded. Since this pattern of behavior is not acceptable to me, I will make efforts to deal with the other shops.

avoid this dealer and service repair at all cost
i had this service dept diagnois my ski, they misdiagnoised my repair and chargerd me double what they quoted me.i had another ski with the same problem of not starting so i figured out the problem myself,it was as simple as throwing out the old gasand cleaning out the tank. simi honda said i needed my carbs rebuilt which was a lie after i got my ski from them a few days the ski would not start so i took it back to... view more them they said i needed new fuel linethat mine was bad (haa haa) the joke was on me, another lie theres a guy Jim over there stay as far away from him and his poor attitude and bad service advice as you can. back to my bad experience so not since they didint do the 1 st thing they should have done they advised me to flush my tank ahhhh what a novel idea guess what after almost $800 later all my ski really needed was a tank flush this dealership is just ripping me and anyone else that they can BEWARE
