1975 Pontiac Bonneville Survivor Donk 26k Original Miles on 2040-cars
Mahopac, New York, United States
Hey disco lovers!! Here is a 75 Bonneville that has been cared for its entire life. This car has been driven sparingly since new. Its only got 26,000 original miles on it. It runs like showroom. It has the numbers matching 400 engine. Plenty of power. No smoke or anything abnormal. No major rust. Everything works, including the tape deck. The A/C is ice cold. The interior has had professionally made seat covers on it since 1975. I don't know if the seats have ever been sat in. The body is really straight and the paint shows well. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car to a cruise night or to get ice cream with the family. New tires, and brakes. It gets thumbs up's and stares wherever its driven. This is a true survivor. Its not perfect, but its damn nice. The car has some minor bubbles along the bottom of the car. Other then that the paint is in excellent shape. The car runs as it should. It will do what you want it to without hesitation. This is a true unmolested survivor. An unrestored example of classic 1970's GM at its finest!! Leave it as is or customize it to your taste. Florida style with the big Donk wheels and a stereo system would be cool. A blank canvas. I will help assist in shipping the car. The buyer will arrange shipping and pay for it. Its inside as of now. So when the auction is done, she needs to go within a week or 2 or she will be put outside. This is a no reserve auction so bid hard and bid often. Any questions, please email me though eBay and I'll get back to you asap. Thank you for looking. |

eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
If you like what you see, this machine is up for bid in Richfield, Minnesota with two days left on the auctions. So far, bidding as whipped up to $60,000 with the reserve not met. Head over to eBay Motors to have a look.
Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am
Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.
