I'm listing my convertible for sale. It's a 2005 Nissan 350z convertible. It has the Grand Touring trim level on it, which is the most expensive one. It is in great shape, the paint looks amazing. It's a rare blue and I have not seen many like it. The top works excellent and doesn't leak, it was replaced two years ago. It has around 133k miles on it but runs like new and has always had all maintenance done. It is the 6 speed manual transmission which I feel like is the only way to go on a sports car, but that's just me. It has the xenon lights that work great and also has an upgraded stereo system. Everything on the car works great. It has Axis wheels on them which cost about $2,000. Custom exhaust, custom intake, and a stage two clutch on it. The car also comes with a warranty good until the end of the year that is transferable. I'm asking $13,000, which I think is reasonable considering the thousands of dollars worth of aftermarket parts and considering that the black book value on the car is $15,100. I'm selling the car because I need an SUV. I love the car and it has been amazing to have and so much fun and you won't be disappointed with it. $13,000 obo. Nissan recalling more than 1M vehicles for airbags that may fail to deploy

Nissan and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have issued a recall for 989,701 vehicles in the US due to an issue with their passenger-side airbag systems. Affected Nissan models include the Altima, Leaf, Pathfinder and Sentra from the 2013 and 2014 model years, and 2013 NV200 taxis. Affected Infiniti models include the 2013 JX35 and 2014 Q50 and QX60 utility vehicles.
Reuters is reporting that a total of 1,053,479 vehicles are included in the recall globally, with about 60,000 of the affected vehicles having been sold in Canada.
The fault apparently lies in something called the occupant classification system, which may, in the recalled vehicles, incorrectly classify the passenger seat as empty when it is in fact occupied by an adult. When the system fails to recognize the passenger, the passenger-side airbag may deactivate, and could therefore fail to deploy in the event of a crash.

NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.

Nissan announces limited-edition 2014 GT-R in Midnight Opal

Nissan has unveiled the 2014 GT-R Special Edition. Finished in Midnight Opal paint, the GT-R SE will be limited to just 100 units worldwide, with 50 earmarked for the US.
With sales slated to start this fall, the Special Edition of the 545-horsepower GT-R tacks $6,000 on to the $105,590 price of a GT-R Premium. The hand-applied Midnight Opal paint isn't the only special item, though. Forged RAYS wheels are included in a ten-spoke design that's never before made it to American shores, and there's a dry carbon-fiber rear spoiler, similar in design and appearance to the one found on the GT-R Black and Track Editions. Finally, a gold-plated plaque has been fitted to single out the GT-R Special Edition from the very fast herd.
