If you’re in the market for one of these and this is your color, I believe you’ll not find a nicer one with
this mileage and current condition. After recently becoming grandparents, we’ve decided to go the SUV route and
part ways with this immaculate and perfect-performing luxury sedan. It has all the LS460 standard features plus
those that come with this one's extended wheelbase option. Some of the options we valued are the Levinson sound
system, soft-close doors, navigation, power sun roof, and park-assist. We have the clear title, all the glove
compartment factory-supplied owner’s manuals and both key fobs. The factory spare tire and wheel have never been
out of the trunk, nor have the tire changing tools or roadside emergency supplies.
I purchased the car for my wife from Sewell Lexus in Dallas, TX in October 2015 as a “lease return” with
approximately 26,000 miles. As part of Sewell’s Certified Pre-Owned policy, it got a complete mechanical
inspection, full service and new set of factory-select Bridgestone tires. We’ve put just under 24,000 highway
miles in approximately 16 months and being a do-it-yourselfer, I’ve done all but one of the engine oil and filter
changes – the other done by Sewell. The car has been absolutely trouble-free and a pure enjoyment to drive and
own. Given the number of miles on the car, there are a few rock chips along the front facia and bumper surround.
The right rear wheel also has some surface scratches from having gotten too close to a curb. The other three
wheels are perfect and the sheet metal along both sides of the body are dent-free, the only exception being a
couple of very minor scratches. All of the glass is perfect and scratch-free including the headlamp covers.
The vehicle's history is clean. I've included a picture of one page from the vehicle history report showing 2
owners plus the registration, title and inspection event dates.

Lexus to display turbocharged LF-NX Concept at Tokyo Motor Show

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Concept cars typically have a short lifespan. They debut at a major international auto show, then make the rounds of the lesser local shows, and that's pretty much it. They might be loaned out for test drives or put on display in a museum, but by and large they've had their fifteen minutes of fame by that point. That said, Japan's automakers have found a way to keep these show cars going and keep them in the news. They're modifying them and giving them a fresh lease on life.
That's what Subaru is doing with the Viziv concept for the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, and what Lexus is doing as well with the LF-NX concept. Having already unveiled the crossover concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lexus is fitting the LF-NX with a new 2.0-liter turbo engine. (But then, as far as we could tell, Lexus never revealed engine specs for the concept in the first place.)
To go with the turbo engine, Lexus has also fitted the concept with a new front splitter, but otherwise it's the same - and even appears to be wearing the same liquid-metal paint, unlike the LF-LC concept that got repainted from red to blue when its limelight was starting to fade.

2013 Lexus GS450h [w/video]

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

An Unlikely Star in the Lexus Stable
Think about Lexus for a second. Odds are your gray matter is busy regurgitating images of the company's middle-aged RX crossover or possibly the midsize ES sedan. As the volume movers for Toyota's luxury fleet, the two are the default ambassadors for everything with an italicized L pinned to the grille, and that's a damned shame. As the 2013 GS450h is so willing to point out, Lexus engineers are busily crafting models that offer drivers more than a safe luxury choice.
As the master of fuel-sipping battery propulsion, Lexus has brought the impressive width of Toyota hybrid engineering to bear on the GS450h. The result is a vehicle that manages to sneak its hybridness by you with buttery acceleration, stone quiet operation and brakes that don't feel like you're trying walk around the house in Velcro socks. The drivetrain doesn't feel the need to beat you over the head with its battery pack or announce to the neighborhood that you're saving the world one whispery mile at a time. Both driver and passengers get to enjoy a luxury car that just so happens to be a hybrid instead of the other way around.

Lexus bringing next-gen IS to Detroit

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

With ES, GS and LS models all now minty fresh at your local Lexus showroom, it was only a matter of time before we had official word that the company's IS had a replacement in the wings. That word has come down today in an ultra brief press release that names the date and venue that the sheet will be pulled on the new car: January 15th in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show.
Don't pay too much attention to the test mule in these dusty spy shots, we're told that the small Lexus has been "completely redesigned" from the inside out and that it has drawn inspiration from the sultry LF-CC concept car. In LA we learned that the LF-CC has been green-lit for production, so we'd expect to see a lot of cues from that car (in the gallery below) lifted directly for the all-new IS. New fang-face, here we come.
While a coupe and a convertible version of the next IS are undoubtedly in the cards, too, we'd guess that the sedan will be first to go on stage at Detroit next month.
