1989 JEEP COMANCHE 2.5 4 cylinder, manual transmission, 165000 milles. I am going to describe the truck to the best of my ability of its conditon and post photos to show as much detail as possible. Truck is in overall good condition. Motor is solid and runs great, NO leaks , NO smoke. Its has had a recent tune up, plugs, wires, filters, fuel filter... had new clutch put in last year. Fireston Tires are at about 80%, it has undercoat , truck has had a second paint job in its time. Body is in pretty good condition, NO major rust issues. There are a few dings in the body, but nothing a dent wizard couldn't massage out. Although is has been painted in the past with an economy paint job, there are some scratches on it from just normal truck use. All guages work, headlights, blinkers. The truck is factory base with no air condtionin; with heat only. Interrior is pretty clean for its age, no rips or tears in the seats, dash or doors. The drivers side floor mat has two wear spots where the drivers heal has worn through the floor liner. It will need a car stereo because I wanted to keep my Kenwood stereo I had in it. Jeep Cherokee finally dealer-bound

We had our First Drive of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee last month, but it appears that prospective buyers won't have too much longer to finally get time behind the wheel of the new small Jeep.
Automotive News is reporting that after a two-month delay, Jeep dealers will finally start receiving their first shipments of the new Cherokee, in the next 10 days. A Chrysler spokesperson confirmed to Autoblog that the Cherokee is indeed on its way to Jeep dealers.
According to AN, about 23,000 Cherokees have been built since production commenced back in June, but potential powertrain issues forced Jeep to make adjustments to the Cherokee along the way. Automotive News says that in order to make sure there are no issues with the Cherokee before it reaches customers, it is testing each vehicle after it rolls off the assembly line at a rented test track near the vehicle's Toledo North Assembly Plant.

Is It An Off-Road Adventure Or Just A Walk In The Park?
I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
