1969 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible 4 speed Manual

302 CID 1-2 BBL Engine 4 speed Runs and Drives. Found this car in a sale in New York, don't know too much about it, but car looks good for its age and no serious problems on the car.

Has 69k miles, body is in good shape, some minimal rust on the body and the paint has some scuffs and marks around the car. There are tiny dents, nothing serious.

The interior is in great shape, dash board has no tears or rips. There are small tears in the front seat on driver side, back seat is in perfect shape, door panels are in great shape no tears.

New top was put on recently, there are no tears. Convertible top motor works great. Car would need a tune up, because it stood around for a while.

The trunk had a trunk pan installed in the center, but there are several rust holes on the edges (pictured).

Some parts of the cars need to be screwed and tightened. Front right fender needs several screws, both doors need hinges tightened, doors close with force. Chrome piece in front of the hood needs to be installed. Front left window needs to be put on rollers, doesnt go up.

The car would need about couple days of work to get it running good. There is some rust underneath the car, please look at the pictures and email me to get more pictures because I can only put 24 pictures up. In near future it would need welding of the front frame rail and tourque box, due to rust.

The car came with a registration from New York, because cars back then didn't have titles, so in order to get title in your state just show them the registration to convert to title. I can ship the car or you can pick up locally. It is in zip code 17339 (Lewisberry, PA).

I will need deposit of $500 within 48 hours, and must pick up car within 7 days.

The VIN # is 9H36F191800

Ford talking unibody Ranger replacement

Mon, 18 Feb 2013

Now here's some welcome news. Car and Driver reports Ford is seriously mulling a replacement for the recently deceased Ranger, but the successor to the compact pickup's throne may not look anything like what we've seen from the nameplate in the past.
While speaking at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, Doug Scott, marketing manager for Ford Trucks, said there's still a market for a smaller pickup, but that buyers expect to see a larger differentiation between the smaller utility vehicles and their full size counterparts in price, capability and fuel economy.
According to Scott, that means a vehicle with a payload capacity of around 1,000 pounds paired with a towing capacity of 3,000 pounds and "a dramatic reduction in fuel consumption." But the biggest piece of that recipe is the price tag, and Scott says to keep the MSRP far enough away from the already cheap F-150, the answer could come in the form of a unibody design. Scott says target customers in this market don't care whether the truck has a traditional frame or not, so long as it's tough enough to do the job and has the capability they need.

Plethora of 2015 Ford F-150 customs runs the gamut at SEMA

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Of Ford's customized trucks, two feature the name of famous Ford racers.
Of all the OEMs making appearances at the 2014 SEMA show, Ford owns arguably the most significant group of vehicles, thanks to its new 2015 F-150 and Mustang. While you can look for our Mustang coverage soon, we've managed to sneak out and get snaps of some of a few of the F-150s on display at the company's sprawling, 20,000-square-foot display (look for even more aftermarket F-150 goodness in the coming days).

Americans will get a four-cylinder Ford Mustang after all? [w/poll]

Sat, 09 Mar 2013

Ask and you shall receive. Remember that previous report suggesting that the 2015 Ford Mustang getting a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and that it would be sold in Europe only and not the United States? Well, according to Road & Track, the rumor is only partially true - The Mustang will get the engine, but it is indeed coming to America.
Additionally, according to RT, the 3.7-liter V6 will continue to serve as the base engine, and since it offers up a stout 305 horsepower in its current form, it's likely that the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost will produce a bit more than that. At the top of the range, the Mustang GT will continue to soldier on with a V8 engine, which should continue to send over 400 horsepower to the rear wheels.
Finally, while we agree 100 percent with RT's heartfelt request for a paddle-shift automatic, we certainly expect that the EcoBoost 'Stang will be offered with a manual transmission as standard equipment. This is a Mustang, after all...
