Lydia, South Carolina, United States
THIS 1975 F-100 IS A REAL SHARPE OLD TRUCK. IT HAS A STRONG, GREAT RUNNING 351V8. JUST INSTALLED NEW AIR CONDITION COMPRESSOR. AIR BLOWS GOOD & COLD. THE ONLYRUST FOUND ON THE TRUCK IS A SURFACE RUST AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF BOTH DOORS. NOTBAD, JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW. THEIR IS A CRACK ON THE TOP OF THE DASH. BEAUTIFULNEW MIDNIGHT METALLIC BLUE PAINT JOB. ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10, I WOULD GIVE THISPAINT JOB A 8.5 TO A POSSIBLE 9 ON WHAT WAS PAINTED. THAT BEING SAID, IT WASVERY STUPID NOT TO PAINT THE DOOR JAMS & UNDER THE HOOD AREA. BUT THAT'SWHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU TRY TO HELP SOMEONE WHO NEEDS THE WORK.(JUST SAYING). THEFLOOR PANS WERE REPAIRED INSTEAD OF BEING REPLACED, BUT IT SERVES THE PURPOSE.IT HAS A SPRAYED IN BED LINER. BED IS VERY SOLID. THE TINT ON THE WINDOWS LOOKAS IF THE WINDOWS ARE SCRATCHED, BUT I'M SURE IT IS THE TINT. TRANSMISSIONIS A C6 AUTOMATIC & SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD. POWER STEERING & BREAKS ARE GOOD ASWELL. PLEASE DON'T LET THESE FEW NEGATIVE AREAS TAKE AWAY FROM THIS TRUCK.IT IS A REAL GOOD & SOLID TRUCK. IF I HAVE LEFT OUT ANYTHING, IT WAS NOTINTENTIONAL. I WILL BE GLAD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE.

2014 Ford F-150 Tremor adds some sport to shake things up
Thu, 27 Jun 2013Like most quakes, the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor caught us by surprise. We weren't expecting Ford to offer up another version of its best-seller so soon before the truck's full redesign, but that's exactly what the company is doing.
While Ford calls the Tremor a "performance truck," the new pickup doesn't play on the same level as the SVT Raptor does on dirt, or even the long-gone SVT Lightning did on pavement. Think of it as a parts bin sport truck that probably does a better job looking the part than acting it. The Tremor utilizes the same twin-turbo, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 available across the F-150 lineup, producing 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, but matches it with a 4.10 rear axle - the shortest final drive ratio you can get in an F-150 - for the strongest possible acceleration.
The Tremor does do a decent job looking the part. Available only in short-wheelbase, regular cab configuration with your choice of two- or four-wheel drive, it struts around wearing the F-150's FX Appearance Package, flat black accents, 20-inch black wheels, HID headlights and a special exterior graphics package. The Tremor is the only regular cab F-150 with a flow-through center console, which means it also gets a floor-mounted shifter and bucket seats that are covered in black leather with red piping. Some brushed metal accents and steering wheel with red stitching round out the interior upgrades.
Ford tells Congress it collects and protects some driver data
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Last month Ford's Jim Farley made waves at the CES when it was reported he told show attendees, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone." Farley and Ford later partially retracted and clarified that statement.
Spurred by a desire for further transparency on data collection policies, Ford representatives answered questions from Congress, specifically Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.), about driver privacy.
The Detroit News reports that Ford told Congress it does collect some vehicle location data in an effort to "troubleshoot and improve our products" on behalf of the driver. Ford went on to say that it only collects limited data after receiving permission from owners.
Ford overlooks the Big Apple in the 2015 Mustang Convertible [w/video]
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Ford has done it again. Like in April of 1964, there is once again an all-new Mustang Convertible sitting on the observation deck of New York City's Empire State Building. This has been in the making for a little while, with the first report that Ford would recreate the sky-high publicity stunt coming out a few weeks back.
The process of getting the Mustang up there wasn't exactly easy. A Troy, MI-based company chopped up the new droptop, a necessary evil to get the Mustang on the Empire State Building's only freight elevator that runs to the 86th floor observation deck. But it was slightly more involved than just taking the car apart. The company, DST, built a mockup of the ESB's freight elevators, and then practiced its cuts on a second pre-production Mustang Convertible (measure twice, cut once).
The result of all this work are the images you see above. Yes, sitting in the crisp, morning air of midtown Manhattan, over 1,000 feet up, is this brilliant, Triple Yellow Mustang. Take a look up top for our gallery of images from today's event. You can also scroll down for videos and images of the process leading up to the ESB debut.
