Top parts all seam to be there .there is no interior. All side glass is there but some broken all tires hold air and rolls and steers . No rear bumper. Clear California title needs some one with time to finish I seen these cars go well into the 60k mark in auctions done right. Tranny is in car motor is out . please email for any questions . we except cash direct deposit chasers check and pay pal soon.as soon as funds clear we will release car We require a 300.00 deposit within 48 hrs of auction end and full amount within 5 days of auction

well I have had a lot of questions about the top and I went out and tested it today all locking mechnisms need work. I hooked a 12v battery to the top and it goes up and down like new just makes noise nothing a little lube wouldn't fix. the trunk hinges need to be bolted back on for me to test that but I will try this weekend no promises but the top does work with battery direct, wiring should be redone this is a project. there is rust in floor boards but I think it set with top opened. this would be worth a lot of money when finished. I will post video of roof when I figure out how to.

you tube    type in 1959 skyliner then choose filter  click on this week and it should pop up I tried to copy link it wouldn't let me

Mulally will stay close to Ford after he steps down, plans to advise Fields [w/video]

Fri, 27 Jun 2014

Ford CEO Alan Mulally has less than a week left in his role of leading the Blue Oval before he hands off duties to Mark Fields on July 1. It doesn't look like Mulally is going to be shuffling off into his retirement anytime soon, though. The 68-year-old is being rather secretive about his next move, but he tells Bloomberg in a recent interview that he plans to stay close to Ford. Also, if Fields wants to ask for any advice, Mulally is happy to help.
Mulally took over at Ford in 2006 and led the company through a seriously rough patch in the auto industry. According to Bloomberg, he became famous or his Thursday meetings where executives were forced to deal with any problems before they could leave. Since announcing his retirement from Ford in May, Mulally has been insuring a smooth transition of power by traveling the world to all of company's major locations and saying goodbye to employees and dealers.
In terms of the future at Ford, Mulally doesn't predict any big changes in management style because the rest of the executive team is staying in place. He believes that Fields is going to maintain the processes already in place to keep things going. After all, it seems to be working. The company is predicting a return to profitability in Europe next year and is opening 88 new dealers in China. If the business could get its recalls under control, things could get even better.

Shelby to auction 2012 GT350 No. 1 in Vegas

Thu, 19 Sep 2013

With Shelby preparing to wind down production of its brutal GT350, a 624-horsepower Mustang that's meant to go up against the Roush Stage 3 in the world of tuned Ford ponycars, the Las Vegas-based tuner is looking to give back to one lucky customer. It'll auction off the very first GT350 ever produced, at the 2013 Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas, a three-day event that runs from September 26 through September 28.
The GT350 is a monster, with a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 that's been tuned well past 600 horsepower in a time when Ford's own Shelby-branded GT500 barely reached 550 horsepower. The GT350 is much louder than Ford's effort, too, both visually and audibly. The wide body look isn't what we'd call conventional, but on a car that sounds and goes like this, something extreme is needed. According to Shelby American's vice president of production, Gary Davis, "Carroll was very excited about the new wide body option, so that was included on this car. It's the first 2012 GT350 serial number from our anniversary year. It is a very special car." Wilwood brakes, a massaged suspension, and some very fat, sticky tires add to the Shelby experience.
This particular GT350 will be lot number 750, and will cross the Barrett-Jackson stage on Sunday, September 28.
