Greetings Ebay Community,

I am auctioning off a 1998.5 Dodge Ram 24 valve Cummins 4x4 5 speed manual truck with an attached sleeper!  This truck was altered by me for my specific needs.  I am now changing careers and no longer require such a unique vehicle.  I would like to explain to you my history with the vehicle so you understand the fabrication, modifications and the additions that have been made to the truck.  I purchased the vehicle with 230,000 miles from a dealer in Kentucky.  Originally the vehicle was an ordinary truck configured as a extended cab short bed.  Here is where I began the transformation into the truck you see today.  I stripped the vehicle down to the powertrain and frame rails.  Once I did that, I started replacing all the following parts- front wheel bearings, rear wheel bearings, rear brakes (shoes, drums and hardware), Optima dry cell batteries, High torque starter, Grid Heater, front brakes (pads and rotors), brake lines, emergency brake cables, every steering linkage, ball joints, radiator, ac compressor, ac condensor, ac port lines, sealed oil pan, sealed timing cover, sealed vaccuum pump, sealed CAD, axle seals front and rear, output shaft seal, drained and filled all lubricated components to OEM standards, adjusted the rack (valve train), Rancho shocks (front and rear), steering dampener, valve cover gasket, oil cooler and gasket...I'm sure there are more but I cant recall all of them.  As you can see from that list, I made this truck to run another stress free 200,000 miles.  Now for a list of what was added- Standard cab, new vinyl floor, new windshield, Oil pan heater, CB radio, Radio speakers, Banks Exhaust Brake, fender flares, 315 Mickey Thompson ATZ (just put them on less than 5,000 miles ago), B and D hideaway gooseneck ball, American flag headliner, Tire chains, Custom Shifter knob, running boards w/led lights, Mid 70's Kenworth Sleeper w/led lights, chrome accents, aftermarket towing mirrors, Heavy duty bumper hitch, new sleeper insulation and abs plastic, new sleeper mattress and bedding, camo seat covers, LED stobe light, service body, 5" aussie cut stacks and full stainless exhaust from down pipe all the way through the stacks, tri pod pillar gauges (Pyro, Fuel Pressure, Trans Temp), camo steering wheel cover, Custom rear mud flaps, visor w/lights, front fender lights, Quadzilla tuner, cold air intake...again I'm sure I am not remembring everything as you can tell by the pictures, this is one unique vehicle.

Now to give you a description of how the truck runs and drives- This truck runs EXCELLENT!  Just as a Cummins should.  I run 5k between oil changes and it does not burn oil or leak oil (which is rare as most of you know).  With all the steering compenents freshly replaced, the truck drives really nice, but I did not replace the actual steering box.  So, you do get some play in the wheel.  This is a characteristic for these trucks.  Four wheel drive works as it should and you get a replacement set of cv joints.  The clutch and synchros work as they should; no issues.  All the lights on the truck and gauges in the dash work properly.  This truck sounds beautiful and has that nice steady pull that Cummins is known to provide.  A trully fun vehicle to drive around in.

I encourage you to ask questions and view the photos.

Note: Neither of the two vises on the rear of the truck go with the vehicle.  If you want them, we can discuss that seperately.

Lastly, the vehicle is for sale locally and I do reserver the right to end the auction early.

Feel free to call- (651) 402-9276 ask for Clint

Thanks for taking the time to view my listing and good luck!

2014 Dodge Durango teaser reveals new 'racetrack' taillights

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

Not wanting to let Jeep get all of the SUV attention for the 2014 model year, Dodge is unveiling a refreshed version of its Durango at the New York Auto Show. Teased in this image, all we can really tell about the 2014 Dodge Durango is that it will be getting Dodge's "racetrack" taillights similar to the Charger and Dart.
The chrome or painted strip currently between the Durango's Zorro taillamps have been removed to allow for a full-width LED array with "DODGE" lettering displayed more prominently above the license plate pocket. Parent company Chrysler also promises that the updated Durango will add "several new class-exclusive features," but stops short of saying what those are. Earlier reports suggest that among the changes, buyers will be able to look forward to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which ought to improve the three-row SUV's fuel efficiency.

Dodge engineers trying to shoehorn Pentastar into Dart?

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

The fact that the Dart's launch has been a pretty dismal affair isn't what we'd call secret. Judging by its mounting inventories and poor critical reception, Dodge's successor to its unloved Caliber has struggled since it hit the market. And while both of those are difficult problems to address, at least their cause is well known - the powertrain.
Even Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has acknowledged that the powertrain options in the Dart are substandard, admitting at January's Detroit Auto Show that the powertrains are "less than ideal." Leading with the 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder found in the Fiat 500 Abarth left a bad taste in the mouths of consumers thanks to the laggy engine and dead throttle response (to say nothing of the manual and dual-clutch gearboxes that needed more refinement). The addition of the 184-horsepower 2.4-liter Tigershark in the Dart GT has helped matters some, but apparently Auburn Hills doesn't think it's quite enough.
If rumors are to be believed - get that salt ready - a possible solution may be in the works. A report from Allpar is claiming that Dodge is considering fitting a Pentastar V6 into the Dart's engine bay. As the Mopar-obsessed website points out, the critically acclaimed Pentastar is available in three different sizes - 3.0 liters, 3.2 liters and the original 3.6 liters. We don't get the 3.0 here in the US, but the 3.2 can be found in the new Jeep Cherokee and the 3.6 has been seemingly fitted to every model Chrysler can shoehorn it into.

2015 Dodge Charger Pursuit prepares to keep Hellcats in line

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

Earlier today, Dodge pulled the wraps off its 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat - a 707-horsepower sedan capable of sprinting to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204 mph. Naturally, the car debuted in a bright shade of pull-me-over red, so it was fitting, then, that Dodge also brought its newly updated 2015 Charger Pursuit to keep everything under control.
No, cops won't be able to spec their Charger cruisers with the 707-hp Hellcat engine (oh man, imagine the chase scenes...), but law enforcement officials will be able to choose from either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 292 hp and 370 hp, respectively. V8 models can be ordered with all-wheel drive, and Dodge estimates that with either engine, the Charger Pursuit can achieve up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway (thanks to the V8's four-cylinder mode).
Other updates for 2015 include improved braking power, a seven-inch display in the instrument cluster, a five-inch display in the center stack, and a new vehicle systems interface that could make it easier for police squads to install computer and radio equipment.
