2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 on 2040-cars
Poteet, Texas, United States
ANY QUESTIONS JUST EMAIL ME: tinatllandauer@donsfans.com .
My 2000 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 extended cab pickup is up for sale. It is a weekend truck with only 130k miles,
mostly highway. Extremely well maintained, paint shines and has no oxidation, no rust, no accidents, clean Carfax.
Drives straight as an arrow and gets 13-14mpg in the city. Interior clean and smoke free. I would not hesitate to
drive this truck across the state, it is quiet, dead reliable and AC blows cold.
The bad: Some small dents on the bedside from loading and unloading, but nothing major and paint has been
professionally touched up. Alpine KCA-420i ipod/iphone connector has stopped recognizing the ipod, not sure what is
wrong with it.
Asking $12,000 obo due to recent overhaul and upgrades (see details below). Pictures do not do the truck justice;
it is clean and drives as good as the day it rolled off the lot. Title in hand. Have a newborn baby at home so had
to buy something more practical, sadly have to sell the weekend truck.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.
