Here is a very sharp and hard to find model. These trucks had to be factory ordered with this stripe scheme. Google " Chevy sport truck program 9G4" This is an authentic COPO truck. These came in Orange, Blue, Maroon and black. Most were ordered in 2 wheel drive. I have only seen one other 4x4 in the years I have had this. This truck was repainted a few years ago also the original color interior at the same time. The seats and floor were originall vinyle but that is just too hot in Arizona. Also the truck bed is polished diamond plate over a wood slab. Other than that she is pretty much just the way it came from the factory. Runs and drives great. Zero rust. V-8 Auto, Cold Air, Full time 4 wheel, Dual tanks and nice stereo. I have driven this about 1000 miles in the last 4 years so its time for it to go.. Leaks oil from sitting but seems to stop when I drive it for a while. I put the push bumper and KC Lights on for decoration only I have not hooked them up. The undercarriage is partly detailed but not perfect by any means. She is straight as an arrow and draws a crowd everytime I drive it. I will help you any way I can to get it shipped at your expense. You could drive it home but she is pretty low geared only gets about 10 miles to the gallon at 65mph.

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.
If you have about five minutes and you can't get enough information about the new 'Vette, then check out the videos posted below.
