If you've been looking for a great work truck, plow truck, want to haul heavy and love the classic Chevy body style, than my 1997 Chevy K2500 4x4 extended cab with the 7.4L big block and just 114k is for you.

Mechanically this truck is solid. Motor fires right up and sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Transmission shifts great through all the gears with no slipping. Drives well down the road. Brakes and steering feel good. A/C is ice cold. Tires have about 80% tread left.

Cosmetically this truck is in great shape for the year. Paint shines beautifully in the sun. Body is nice and straight with just your typical ding here and there if you look close. Has your typical light scratch here and there and a little spot on the fender flare that has been touched up but overall looks very nice. And the question that everyone wants to know about...Rust. Doors, cab corners and frame are all free of rust as you can see on the pictures. Rear hitch has your typical light spots. Wasn't used as a plow truck and it definitely shows. Interior is nice and clean. Seats, carpet and headliner are all in good shape. Hasn't been smoked in.

Overall this is a nice clean Chevy that's been well cared for over the years and is ready to be put to work. If you have any questions please give me a call at 717-823-3349. My name is Zach. I am only human and may have missed something that is important to you so please ask any questions before buying. Although this is a nice clean truck, keep in mind this is a 1997 and not a 2015. A $500 non refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction. This truck is being sold by Platinum Car and Truck Sales, LLC in Elizabethtown, PA

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.

Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes

Tue, 28 Aug 2012

Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
