Hello, we are Richland Motors in Cleveland, Ohio. We have been here for over 26 years and have this excellent Passat for sale. All buyers pay 249.00 title, tag and doc fee at time of pickup, and any sales tax is also due at that time as well.

This car has a CLEAN CARFAX, this car has been inspected and it is in great overall condition. This car is being sold with a 3 month or 4500 miles powertrain warranty. We are happy to offer this excellent car for sale, it is a superior example of a clean Passat. First off the paint is in very excellent overall condition, nice gloss, it is original, it is as nice as possible for the age of the car, no obvious scrapes, or damage, the hood shows minimal stone nicks, the rest of the body is just very nice overall. There are no obvious areas of paint flaws as I can see. There has to be disclosed that this is a used car and it is described as best as possible. I strongly feel that the exterior of this car is about as nice as possible and will not dissapoint. The interior is just as nice as outside. There is no smoke inside, the leather shows almost no wear, the carpet is super nice too, all interior trim is excellent and functions as designed. We have both factory keys, and books for this car.

I have driven this car for several hundred miles and it drives very well, excellent I say. You will experience this car to feel like new on the road, it is smooth, tight, solid, fast and responsive. This car has fresh brakes and tires, and a beautiful driving feel to it. All options on this car operate as designed, cold air, climate control, all power options and moonroof work great. Volkswagen Group, BMW Z4 top Total Value Awards by Strategic Vision

It was just nine months ago that Strategic Vision announced its 2011 Total Value Awards, but you don't have to wait until next year for the 2012 awards. The Volkswagen Group keeps its lead as the number one brand, with seven products taking top category spots: Golf, Jetta Wagon, CC, Eos and Audi A3 Wagon, Q5 and Q7. Strategic Vision says "true innovation" - "rich and impactful, intuitive, motivational, in-depth and is able to trigger description by the user in great specificity" - is the open secret of the brands with the strongest showings. Results are culled from 77,153 owners covering more than 350 new cars bought between September of 2011 and 2012 ranked in the Total Value Index (TVI).
Other notable winners are Hyundai-Kia following VW in the brand category and having the Hyundai Elantra and Kia Sorento among category winners, the BMW Z4 taking the premium roadster category and the highest overall score of any vehicle, the Chevrolet Volt continuing to gather silverware in the Special Category, nabbing the second-highest score of all and representative of "nearly perfect innovation," and Chrysler and Dodge being most improved.

VW debuts Get Happy Super Bowl ad

Brace yourself for another tidal wave of Super Bowl commercials. Volkswagen has released its spot for this year's big game. Set to air during the second quarter, the Get Happy spot follows one jubilant office worker as he makes his way through the day, spreading joy wherever he goes. The source of his happiness? A Volkswagen Beetle, of course. Now, if you're wondering why a gaggle of white guys are running around on your screen with Jamaican accents, it will help to know the spot is part of a larger Get Happy campaign featuring Jimmy Cliff.
The first ad in the series featured the artist singing his rendition of "C'Mon, Get Happy," complete with a little help from some notorious unhappy YouTube stars. You can take a look at the new ad before it airs below, along with the complete press release for a little more background.

Volkswagen drops "GTi" lawsuit against Suzuki

Way back in 2004, Volkswagen took umbrage with Suzuki being granted permission to use the nameplate "SWIFT GTi" for a performance variant of its small-car offering (2012 equivalent seen here). Now, eight years and surely some very steep legal bills later, VW has finally dropped its claim against Suzuki.
The General Court of the European Union stated, back in March of this year, that Suzuki's GTi registration could not be confused with VW's "Golf GTI." Volkswagen had appealed that ruling, though has now reportedly called off the dogs. In fact, Germany's Die Welt reports that the appeal has been dead for several weeks now.
This news comes amongst continued arbitration acrimony between the two automakers, all revolving around VW's forced divestiture of nearly 20-percent stake it purchased in Suzuki some two years ago.
