What you have here, Ladies and Gentleman, is a 1993 EuroVan Pop Top Camper with a complete top end engine rebuild. I have full documentation/receipts of all work done The bottom end(rings, pistons, cylinders, bearings, etc) looked near new, therefore, didn't need a rebuild. The entire top end has been rebuilt. The EuroVans are notorious for overheating/cooling problems. This particular EuroVan overheated and blew the head gasket.
I bought it in that state of disrepair and went through the engine thoroughly. What was included in the top end rebuild was/ new cylinder head, new valves, new valve seats, springs, etc, new head, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, new timing belt and timing belt tensioner, and new water pump. The Van now runs like new.
I have had 3 other 1993 EuroVans in the last year (I collect and rebuild them). This one is the best running of the lot. So quiet that you can't even hear the engine running at 75MPH. Shifts flawlessly. Take coast to coast without any problems. All cooling issues have been sorted out. Ready to roll.
I sold the last two EuroVan Campers that I had for sale for $8,500 each(the very first person to test drive either Camper, bought it on site). They had new paint jobs, this one does not, however, this one drives better and smoother, in my opinion (even though the others where top notch with very happy new owners).
I need to move this EuroVan to free up some cash for another project. Therefore, I am selling for $7,000. Will not go below that price, she runs to good, to go lower. Buy a high mileage rust bucket for $5,500 that has not been "gone through" and take a chance or buy this one for $7,000 without worries. I will deliver for free anywhere in the Front Range area (Ft. Collins, Co to Pueblo, Co. I am in the Denver Metro Area. If you are not local, I can arrange shipping or pick you up in this lovely EuroVan at Denver International Airport. Buy with confidence a EuroVan that has been sorted out by an actual mechanic, not a unsorted out model that "runs good" and take a chance.
Call me at 405/328/9537 for test drive or to ask any questions. Thank You, Nathan Gresham

VW redoes A-ha's 'Take On Me' music video
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Volkswagen has been responsible for its fair share of witty, clever commercials. "Tiny Vader" might be the most popular, but somehow, we think this newest spot will find a big audience. VW delivers not so much a cover, but a reimagining, of 1980s Norwegian pop band A-ha's famous music video for "Take On Me."
The original opens with an animated motorcycle race, which is revealed to be part of a comic book. VW's version replaces the motorcycle with a Passat, which strikes us as an oddly sober choice when there are cars like the GTI and Beetle in VW's portfolio. But never mind that - take a look down below for the entire 46-second spot. For reference, we've also included the original music video. And if you aren't a fan of the musical stylings of A-ha, just think, VW's choice of 1980s music could have been much worse.
VW Beetle R is one mean bug
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Volkswagen's R lineup currently consists of the Golf R in North America, and the too-cool-for-school Scirocco R in Europe. It hasn't exactly been a secret as to which VW would next get the R treatment; the German manufacturer reportedly confirmed that a hotter Beetle would be coming to the US. That announcement, in August 2011, was followed up by a production-ready Beetle R Concept at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
After some wait, we're finally seeing spy shots of the Beetle R in Germany. The mule shown in the images here is wearing the R-Line bodykit, which adds sportier front and rear fascias, side skirts, dual exhausts and a not-so-subtle spoiler. Topped off with Volkswagen's traditional, five-spoke R wheels, we'd be just fine with the Beetle R coming to market as is.
Our spy photographer, though, seems to think that the production R will get even sportier sheetmetal, which we take to mean the more assertive look shown on the Frankfurt show car. Larger intakes on the front fascia, a bigger rear spoiler and vertical vents on the rear bumper could all be upcoming. Whether a production model will include the concept's polished wheels (R cars haven't traditionally embraced that look), vented hood and the quad-tipped exhausts remains to be seen.
Volkswagen debuts MkVII-based diesel Golf GTD
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As Volkswagen prepares for the launch of the seventh-generation Golf, it continues to show off some of the car's different variants. With the standard Golf and the ultra-efficient BlueMotion Concept out of the way, now we're finally starting to see some of the sportier versions planned for the hatchback. Confirmed for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen has now given us our first glimpse at the Golf GTD.
Just think of the GTD as a diesel version of the GTI with all the handling and styling upgrades, and then add a torquey engine to the equation. (We had the chance to sample the current GTD over the summer, so click here to read more.) To go with the new body style, VW also gave the GTD a new TDI engine consisting of a similar turbocharged and direct-injected 2.0-liter inline-four layout but with an output of 184 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque - that's an increase of 14 hp and 22 lb-ft over the current GTD. That's a pretty good oomph, but the GTD won't be setting any acceleration records with VW quoting a 0-62 mile per hour time of 7.5 seconds thanks to the car's 3,036-pound curb weight.
The styling of the MkVII Golf lends itself quite well to the more aggressive body kit found on the GTD (and likely matching the GTI). The new front fascia and blacked-out grille give the GTD a sporty look up front, while 17-inch sport wheels, rocker panel extensions and smoked LED taillights finish off the visual changes. The GTD will only be offered in three exterior colors: Tornado Red, Black and Pure White. As expected, the interior gets the plaid seat inserts and flat-bottomed sport steering wheel, but the car also gets stainless steel pedals, a black headliner, ambient cabin lighting and a specific gauge cluster readout.
