Hi Everyone, I am offering up for auction a really cool VW Beetle Convertible that is very reasonable and well worth the money. The Bug runs great with the 2.5L 5 cylinder engine and the 5 speed transmission shifts out great. The VeeDub does have 141,757 miles on it, but it runs really great with no smoke or funny noises. The engine does have some oil leaks that are not bad but it does drip and leave approximately 5 to 6 spots about the size of a quarter every time you park. The engine also will need the valve cover replaced. The reason for this is that the PCV diaphram went bad and it is Incorporated into the valve cover itself and VW will not just sell you the PVC diaphram. You have to purchase the whole valve cover. I am just being totally honest about the vehicle so there will be no surprises when the winning bidder comes to pick it up. The Beetle looks really great with no major body damage and the paint does have some minor scuffs and a few minor scratches here and there { please see the pictures }. It shines very well and there is nothing major but i wanted to point them out the best that i could. The convertible top is brand new with a real glass back glass that has the defrost system and yes it works. The top is power and works correctly but you have to guide the left rear quarter glass when its being rolled up to seal it up next to the left front window. The front windows do get confused sometimes opening and closing the doors but all that you have to do is press the unlock button twice on the key clicker and they go back where they are supposed to. The interior is in very good clean condition featuring leather heated seats, power windows, power locks, remote trunk release, remote gas door release, aftermarket Clarion CD player, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, all kinds of bells and whistles. The interior door panels are in good condition as well as the headliner. The tires are in good condition as well as the clutch but the front brakes will need to be changed in the near future. All in all, the winning bidder is going to get a VW ragtop beetle well worth the money. Please look at the pictures and ask all questions that you have and i'll get back to you. J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners

Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?

Updated J.D. Power APEAL study shines on VW Group, Chevy

J.D. Power has just revealed the results of its 2013 APEAL Study, which looks at which brands have the most appealing cars based on sales figures, dealer inventory, brand loyalty, transaction and trade-in prices. The study was revamped for 2013, and places a larger focus on the new tech and infotainment options available to customers. All told, study participants gauged their vehicles on 77 different attributes, delivering a score out of a 1,000 points.
The Volkswagen Group had the greatest success of any corporation, topping the APEAL rankings with the Audi Allroad, Porsche Boxster, Porsche Cayenne, VW GTI and Passat. Chevrolet had the highest number of awards for a single brand, though, with the Avalanche, Sonic and Volt all taking home a prize.
The best brand overall was Porsche, which scored 884 out of a possible 1,000 points. The top Japanese brand was Lexus with a score of 847, while the top American brand was Cadillac, at 841. The best mainstream brand was Ram, which received a very respectable 817. The industry average for this year's study was 795, with 16 brands, all of which were mainstream, falling below the average.
