Engine had complete rebuild top to bottom. Has rust on rockers."

1972 TR6 in average condition. Mechanically car is very good. Brakes good, newer clutch. Brand new clutch master cylinder. Steering tight. Well maintained, have records going back to the 80's including engine rebuild from top to bottom. It does have a drip coming from diff after driving it like most TR6's do. The only problem mechanically with it is a vibration under acceleration. I'm not sure if it is a u-joint or not. The transmission shifts perfectly, nice and smooth, so I don't think the vibration is coming from the trans. Interior is in pretty good shape, no rips or tears in seats. The drivers seat is a bit faded compared to passenger seat, previous owner probably had a tonn cover on it. The rockers are rusty and there are some bubbles around body. The left fender has a repair on top that looks like it was done with body tape. Each quarter panel has a crack on top by door. Floors are in great shape. It looks like the car was originally brown. The paint on it is not very good. The pictures make it look alot nicer than it really is. It is faded and has some checking on hood and decklid. It does look good from 15-20 feet. the tires are good, alot of tread on them. The exhaust looks fairly new, no rust on pipes or muffler. The top is pretty rough, but like any TR, the top is always down so it doesn't really matter. It has a nice boot to cover top. Chrome is not bad, looks like front bumper is pushed in in the center a little bit. It has an aftermarket radio in the glove box . Please send questions if you have them, I'm sure I left something out. Bear with me, I will try to get to your questions as soon as I can. Thanks for looking.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
