1976 Triumph TR6

Car is in good overall condition but currently not running
I purchased the car as a restoration project last year and got in over my head
I purchased the car in non running condition and brought to shop to complete what I thought would be a quick job to get back on road
I have over $4,000 into the car and can not continue to add more
*carbs were rebuilt
*engine tuned
*electrical work done under hood
According to the mechanic who I brought the car to, he had the engine started and it ran great.  I went to see it run and he could not get it started.  He found the problem to be 2 broken rocker arms.  Told me a valve was stuck and he freed it and would begin working on it again.  The car then sat and he did not get back to working on it.  I pulled it out of his shop and brought it to my home where it currently sits.
Engine turns freely
It still needs electrical work and when I now turn the key I get nothing.  Not sure, but I'm guessing he disconnected something
Frame is in good condition with only surface rust
paint is ok, is flaking in several areas and hood has area about 8" where paint is missing
I took the seats and carpet out.  My intent was to put miata seats in there but never got that far.  I have the seats that were in it but they are not in great shape
Floors are in very good shape
Top is excellent
Wheels and tires are excellent
Rear fenders are fiberglass
Dual exhaust
Doors open, close, and line up well
One window is stuck in the up position, other one cranks and lowers fine
I have a clear title in my name but have never had the car on the road
Car is definitely a project and would be perfect for someone who can do their own work.  It was becoming too expensive for me to pay someone to do it

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
