Has a few paint scratches on front and back bumper. New battery was installed May of 2012. Had a AAA 135 point inspection completed on July 26, (picture included), which states battery cable very coroded, and I replaced the battery cable on July 27. Struts on front look original and are a bit choppey, recommends they be changed at 90K. Tires were rotated on July 26th and will pass most safety inspections, but recommends they be changed before bad weather. The right rear rim is a little bent which causes a small vibration noise, but is safe and not a problem. Front rotors are a little warped but do not need to be replaced at this time. Windshield had a crack, and is scheduled to be replaced on July 30. Oil is also scheduled to be changed on July 30. AAA inspection, windshield and oil change receipts will be in glove compartment when car is picked up."

This car has perfect interior with an excellent after market CD player with mp3 hook up. It also comes with the original manual in leather casing and all 3 keys (2 with keyless entry remotes). This is an excellent car just over the 80,000 mile mark.

Toyota Sienna Swagger Wagon rides again with Busta Rhymes

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Let's face it: there are few things less "gangsta" than a minivan (which goes a long way towards explaining why crossovers have been gradually taking their place as the family-hauler of choice across America, but we digress). The point here is not lost on Toyota, which has embraced the uncool image of the minivan with the Swagger Wagon campaign.
We first saw the suburban-goes-urban campaign pop up with the introduction of the new Sienna back in 2010. And now that the Sienna's been updated for 2015, the campaign is back again, featuring none other than Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. himself... better known to most as Busta Rhymes. The decidedly white-bread video spot that follows may make you cringe, but you've got to admit that it's well done, even if it doesn't have the charm and freshness of the original.

Toyota announces GT86 CS-R3 rally car

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Toyota Motorsport GmbH has developed cars for all manner of racing, up to and including Formula One and Le Mans. But it got its start back in 1979 in rally competition, winning four drivers' and three manufacturers' titles in the World Rally Championship. And now it's announced a new rally car.
Based on the Toyota GT86 (better known to us as the Scion FR-S), the CS-R3 rally car isn't built to contest the top tier of the WRC, but is being developed to conform to the lower R3 class. That means a six-speed sequential gearbox, limited slip differential and upgraded engine, brakes, aero... the works. It'll retain the road-going model's rear-drive setup, joining the front-drive Yaris R1A in TMG's portfolio of customer rally cars.
Further details are set to be revealed "in the coming months", but the GT86 CS-R3 will benefit from the experience TMG accrued in developing the GT86 CS-V3 (pictured above) for the Nürburgring-based VLN endurance racing series.

TMG's super Lexus LS Sports 650 gets track tested

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

The people at Toyota Motorsport GmbH have been responsible for the Japanese automaker's motorsports efforts since the 1970s, but since Toyota pulled out of Formula One after the 2009 season, the tuning shop has been developing a super sedan based on the Lexus LS called the Sports 650. Details on TMG's first road car have been scarce, but XCAR was recently invited to drive the 641-horsepower Lexus on track.
Here's what we know: the Sports 650 has enough power to sprint to 60 miles per hour in under four seconds, tops out at 199 mph, weighs over two tons and utilizes LFA brakes. Oh, and its twin-turbo V8 bellows like an AMG V8. That last part isn't surprising when considering TMG could become Toyota's in-house tuning arm - like AMG is to Mercedes-Benz. As for the bespoke body kit, fender flares and stacked exhaust pipes? They fit the car well and even remind us a bit of Lexus' other high-performance sedan, the IS F. Currently there are no plans for the Sports 650 to be made into a production car, but we doubt TMG is devoting this much effort developing the LS into a road-rocket for nothing.
Check out XCAR's video below to see the AMG-fighter wrung out on track, and then ponder what could be if TMG were let loose to fiddle with other cars in Lexus' lineup. Now that's something we could get used to!
