As stated in the condition description, I have a hard time keeping this car running, and or starting. I am not a "car" guy, and I do not have the time or money to keep putting it in the shop to find out whats wrong. May be something simple or more complex, I do not know. Due to the problems it is having, I strongly recommend the buyer having it towed to wherever it is going. Buyer will be responsible for the tow part and the appropriate paper work for exchange of title. It may stay running long enough to get there, it may not. I have had it die on me just a tenth of a mile down the road, just to have to let it sit for 24 hours or so before I could get it to start again. Now that that is out of the way, this car has been very reliable over the years. Original owner, title in hand. 4 Cyl 1.8 L automatic. All 119,000 ( approx ) miles put on by me, mostly highway miles. The paint is still in great shape. No major scratches or dents. Through the years, I have only had to change the oil, brakes once, headlight bulbs twice, rear tail light once, and tires a couple times. AM/FM/CD player, power steering, power locks, power windows, power mirrors. Rear spoiler, ground spoilers I guess they are called. Has been smoked in, the interior needs a good detailing and an oil change. Virginia tags. This car is also listed on autotrader.com so should I take an offer there, I do reserve the right to end this listing early. If you are interested here, you can make me an offer. Cash, certified check only due on pickup within 7 days of auctions close. Certified check will be verified with the issuing bank. I will not accept wire transfers, or payments. If payment is not received after the 7 days I will file a claim. All sales final. If you have more questions, you can send me a message via ebay and I will reply with my phone number so you can contact me. Leave a message and I will get back with you as soon as possible. I have to do this due to scammers, work schedule, etc.

Toyota gives dealers permission to drop Scion, shows them FR-S droptop, Juke rival first
Mon, 19 Aug 2013We recently heard that Toyota could be looking to shrink its network of Scion dealerships, and now Automotive News is reporting that the automaker has officially given its dealers the green light to dump Scion without any penalties. Currently, Scion has about 1,000 dealers, yet our report from August 8 quotes an industry analyst as suggesting a healthier figure would be between 350 and 500 outlets. But before its current dealers make a decision on whether or not to get rid of the youth-oriented brand, Toyota also showed off a couple potential future products in the pipeline.
The FT-86 Open Concept shown above was revealed back in March at the Geneva Motor Show, and AN says that an FR-S convertible was driven on stage at a recent national Toyota dealer meeting in Atlanta. There has still been no definitive word one way or another as to whether the droptop model will be built, but it could be a good way to follow up to the popular FR-S coupe. Another possible future product is a subcompact crossover, which was shown in drawing form at the meeting, presumably aimed at small CUVs like the Nissan Juke and the upcoming Honda CUV based on the Fit, a model recently previewed by the automaker's Urban SUV concept.
Scion trying to build business case for FR-S convertible as Subaru bows out
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Hope may remain for a convertible version of the Scion FR-S, according to a report from Ward's Auto. You'll recall that rumors were swirling about the feasibility of a rear-drive Toyobaru convertible as early as October, and that back in November, Subaru - which makes the FR-S, Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86 - essentially nixed the idea of an open-topped variant.
"We make the car, so if we don't make it, it can't happen," brand chief Yasuyuki Yoshinaga told Automotive News, according to Ward's, at the Tokyo Motor Show. "Our engineering department told me that losing the entire roof requires a complete redesign of the structure. It would need a big change."
Despite Yoshinaga-san's arguments against a droptop variant, Toyota is apparently still considering the model. Speaking to media at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, Scion's US vice president, Doug Murtha, hinted that the rear-drive droptop was in the works.
Toyota sudden acceleration class action may cover 22 million owners
Thu, 16 May 2013A total of 22.6 million current and former Toyota owners have been sent notices that they may be eligible to receive compensation from the automaker for damages related to the unintended acceleration fiasco that has dominated headlines in 2009 and 2010. The total payout may be as high as $1.63 billion, according to The Detroit News.
Steve Berman, a lawyer for the owners, calls the potential deal "a landmark, if not a record, settlement in automobile defects class action litigation in the United States." Still, there's some debate about whether or not Toyota's proposed settlement is fair, as it includes $30 million for safety research and driver education programs - in other words, Toyota seems to be suggesting that drivers need more education on how to drive their correctly working and fully functional vehicles. For those keeping track, Toyota would also be paying lawyer fees of $200 million.
A US District Judge in California is scheduled to hold a so-called "fairness hearing" on June 14 that could decide the fate of this particular settlement. Further courtroom wrangling will be required to hash out any wrongful death suits levied against Toyota stemming from unintended acceleration claims, as those are not part of this class-action suit.
