2006 Toyota Camry LE
The Toyota Camry is the best-selling car in America,
the Crown Jewel of cars in the auto industry. Truly
can't think of a vehicle that offers So Much VALUE! The
Camry appears to be a perfect transportation appliance,
flawlessly performing its duties, never annoying its
owner. It rides smoothly and softly...all while Looking
Stylish, Distinctive and providing its owner with Plenty
of Comfort and Peace of Mind!
This Florida 1-Owner Camry LE and is a Gorgeous
example of the Best Toyota has to offer and the Best
you're likely to find for your Transportation dollar.
The Sky Blue Pearl exterior retains a deep rich
shine. Based on its condition, it appears to have been
garage-kept. Color-coded bumpers, moldings, mirrors,
Tastefully Tinted windows, factory capped wheels and
almost new Firestone Precision Sport radials make this
Toyota Pleasing to the eye as well.
Inside...Just as nice! Climb in this one and Comfort
abounds. The interior is ergonomically excellent, with
big climate and audio knobs that are easy to adjust.
Gray Patterned seating surfaces are clean, fresh, and
look almost New! Carpets, dash, and door panels are, as
you would expect, excellent.
Power windows, locks and
mirrors work as designed as does the Driver's Power Seat. The
air conditioning is Awesome, cooling the cabin readily even in
the HOT Florida sun. The Factory Toyota AM/FM/CD sounds Great
and even has steering wheel controls to keep you eyes on the
road.
This One is Really NICE, and it truly makes driving
enjoyable.
Mechanically?.... The 2.4 Liter VVTi engine is near
legendary and is enough for any driving situation. It is
also stingy on gas...something we can all appreciate
these days. Toyota's are said to "Run Forever." Well,
that may be a "slight" exaggeration. But, with only
57,000 miles on this one, it's sure to provide the new
owner with Many trouble-free miles.
Across town or across the country, this one is up to
the task....and ready to do it with Style and Comfort!
The friends and neighbors can only be left to wonder how
you found such a gorgeous car with these miles, color
and history, for so few dollars.

Toyota has sat quietly on the sidelines as many of its competitors have armed themselves in recent years with lower-displacement turbocharged four-cylinder engines in an effort to gain better fuel efficiency numbers and flatter power curves. It's a strategy largely shared by fellow countryman Honda, who turned away from offering forced-induction four-cylinder models in North America after its first-generation Acura RDX failed to find buyers. Toyota itself has no lack of experience with turbo fours, having built some humdingers for cars like the MR2 and Celica All-Trac back in the 80s and 90s. It's also offered factory-warranted turbos through its TRD performance parts division more recently.
Now, Automotive News is reporting that the world's largest automaker is finally poised to rejoin the turbo-four production-car fray in North America, but it won't be a sports car that delivers the first force-fed punch, it will be a new small crossover model for Lexus. We first showed you spy shots of the NX last week in mule form, and Automotive News says the small softroader will carry a 2.0-liter turbo four in its engine bay when it rolls on to world markets in 2014 or early 2015. That model, the NX 200t, will be joined by the NX 300h, a hybrid variant. It isn't immediately clear when US buyers will see the turbo model, however, it's possible that the hybrid could bow first - the story quotes an anonymous company source suggesting that Americans might not see the engine offering until sometime in 2015.
AN further posits that the new 2.0-liter will likely supplant the company's 2.5-liter V6 in the IS sedan and the same-displacement four-cylinder in the Toyota RAV4, but does not indicate where the new engine will be built.

Two weeks into the budget-related government shutdown and it sounds like some progress is finally being made, but that doesn't really help furloughed government employees pay their bills. To help out a little, Nissan and Toyota are joining Hyundai with offering payment deferments to current owners and lessees.
In a release, a Nissan spokesperson said the company is "sympathetic to any of our customers who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances - many times outside of their control."
Both Japanese automakers are allowing payment extensions of up to 90 days without penalties or fees. Unlike the Hyundai Assurance Plan, though, it doesn't seem like the Nissan or Toyota assistance will be extended to those who are still in the buying process. Scroll down for press releases from both companies about their respective payment deferment programs.

Commenting on the rush of events that rocked beginning and end of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Paul Truswell of Radio Le Mans said "the race is about the ability to endure, not just the ability of drivers to do what they do for a long time." The entire race machine, all the way down to the pit boards and radios, has to survive the stress and abuse of the entire day. This was the race to prove those words.
There were two Toyotas, two Porsches and three Audis, five of the seven led the race at some point, six of the seven ran in the top three. Toyota will be hugely disappointed that it didn't win when its car and drivers were so, so strong, but they gave Audi the kind of scare we haven't seen since the best of Peugeot's days, and Toyota did a better job of it even in the loss. Porsche blew away everyone's expectations, falling 3.5 hours short of a fairy tale ending that would have made Disney cry.
But Le Mans doesn't really do fairy tales. Well, not that fairy tale. Audi's Twitter handle during the event was #welcomechallenges. As usual, Le Mans answered for the entire field.
