This 2003 Toyota Camry has a BAD ENGINE - The body and interior are actually in great shape and we have been driving it quite often until the other day when the engine's timing belt broke. Everything else works on this Camry. All of the electronics and transmission are still good. The tires are 60% and in good condition. It currently has 196k miles, although you wouldn't know it from the condition of the body and interior. It is being Sold by KRIS RADIO QUALITY KARS in Mansfield, OH. We are celebrating 25 years of service this month! When you come to purchase the vehicle, we will have the title flipped into your name while you are here. Some states may require you to pay tax while you are here. Others will pay their tax in their own state when they return. THERE WILL BE NO ADDED fees. Many dealerships charge title and service fees. Toyota to recall 185k cars globally, including Yaris
Thu, 04 Jul 2013Toyota has announced it is recalling a total of 185,000 vehicles worldwide for a power steering issue. Yaris and (overseas) Vitz models built between November 2010 and March 2012 could suffer a short circuit in their power steering control module if water gets inside. Should that happen, the power steering could fail, increasing effort when turning. The recall also includes the Verso-S and Ractis built from August 2010 to August 2011. The recall covers 130,000 vehicles in Japan and around 22,450 in Europe.
Only 74 units are being recalled in the United States.
Toyota says if the fault occurs, the vehicle will display the Electronic Power Steering warning light on the dash and a buzzer will sound. The automaker will alert owners by mail and dealers will replace the power steering control module free of charge. You can read the quick press release on the recall below for more information.

Wed, 24 Apr 2013Not to be outdone by the Renault Twin'Z concept penned by Welsh designer Ross Lovegrove, Toyota has partnered up with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud to create the 2013 Toyota Me.We Concept. Unveiled at Le Rendez-vous Toyota in Paris, the Me.We Concept is an attempt to imagine a car that can be appreciated by owners across a wide variety of lifestyles while being courteous to the environment, too.
From a "Me" perspective, the concept is highly customizable with removable body panels, and even though it might look like just a small hatchback from the outside, Toyota claims it can also be used as a pickup (with an extendable rear panel), a convertible (with a neoprene roof panel) and even an off-road vehicle. As for the "We" part of the car, it's a fully electric vehicle with individual in-wheel motors and a battery pack mounted under the load floor. The concept has a weight of around 1,600 pounds kept low thanks to an aluminum chassis, but it also features renewable bamboo wood for the floor in addition to the fully recyclable polypropylene exterior body panels.
