This car was donated to help raise money to cover medical expenses that were once covered by insurance,my Dad worked his entire life with his and mom's golden years preparation at the front of his mind. All was good during his first years of retirement but these last few years have seen a big cut in his medical benefit's. After suffering a massive heart attack a triple bypass surgery would save Dad's life,while on a positive road of recovery Dad was diagnosed with parkinson. He's a fighter and has made the best of what he has to work with,however now he has been told he should do little to no standing or walking,he has had a few fall's due the extreme low blood pressure mixed with his nerves being attacked by parkinsons,his latest fall almost took him out.
Through ebay we have already raised a portion of the funds needed to help my dad and have bids on items listed currently,now we've been Blessed with this vehicle and a Cub Cadet mower to sale,I am thankful to each and everyone who has donated and all whom have bid and amazed at the kind emails. Dad collected some old toys over the years and we are going to continue to list a few every week at a 5 day no reserve auction until they are all gone to help with in home nurse expense.

2000 SAAB 9.5 SE TURBO AUTOMATIC showing 118640 miles. Nice looking car with very nice slick black paint no rust just a couple small dings and right front bumper corner touch up. Interior is good with some ware and could use a detail job,power option's work with exception to the two front window's,they go down however they have tracking issue's going up,for now they are up and that's how they stay until the new owner takes control. A/C blows cold out of two vent's but strangely enough the other two blow warm,they are closed and no warm air escapes them. The radio led does not show sometimes however both the radio and CD player work,has nice sounding speakers. The engine runs,has no knocks or rattles but the map censor is reading bad,the car runs however it is slow to gain speed due the map censor regulates the pressure,it being bad makes acceleration slow. Once you are up to about 40 it seems to accelerate better,the censor cost $218.00 [see pic's & video for part description]. The transmission is smooth and tight and the car rides and drives smooth. Recently replaced engine belts-tires and brakes. The Associated Press reports three former Saab executives have been arrested on charges of accounting fraud. Swedish prosecutor Olof Sahlgren has refused to identify the individuals, but says they're suspected of attempting to evade taxes by falsifying Saab accounts between 2010 and 2011 during the Spyker years. Other reports indicate the parties involved include former General Counsel to Saab Kristina Geers (seen to the left of former CEO Victor Muller, above), a 15-year-veteran of the company - her husband, Eric, was the company's communications director for 9 years as well.
Saab filed for bankruptcy in 2011, and was purchased shortly thereafter by National Electric Vehicle Sweden. If convicted, the trio could face up to four years in prison for their crimes under Swedish law.

Remember a month and a half ago when we told you that Saab will "soldier on?" Well, we should have written "stand at attention."
According to SaabsUnited, the deal for National Electric Vehicle Sweden to buy the remaining Saab assets didn't close on schedule. In fact, it's been delayed by "a month, perhaps more." NEVS also seems to have indicated that it's not going to be answering any more questions about the deal until it's completed.
NEVS is supposedly planning on building electric cars based on the design that would have been the next-generation 9-3. The company itself is a partnership between a Chinese energy company and a Japanese investment group.

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.
