2005 Porsche Cayenne S, Very clean, only one owner, Florida Car, No accidents
This Cayenne S belonged to my Father.  He is a 67 year old Doctor who used the vehicle to drive him safely to Miami from Key Largo twice a week.  The 102,000 well documented and maintained miles were serviced by the Collection of Coral Gables and it runs like a Porsche

Sticker Price when bought in early 2006 was $67,595.00 with many nice options.
This Cayenne has $11,000.00 in options including the PCM $3,070.00, Bi-Xenon Headlights w/ Washers $1,240.00, Dark Burr Wood Package $990.00, Dark Wood Steering Wheel $290.00, Driver Seat Memory $360.00, Crystal Silver Metallic $495.00, 18" Cayenne Turbo Wheels $150.00, Light Comfort Package $610.00, Wheel Hub Covers Colored Crest $185.00, Moonroof $1,150.00, Roof Rails Aluminum Look $820.00, Front and rear Park Assist $990.00 (just to list as the sticker info is hard to read)  Added, Porsche OEM Towing Package bought and installed by Porsche The Collection:  $1,200.00

The Cayenne S was bought brand new from The Collection Porsche in Coral Gables
The vehicle has had not accidents.
I repeat the vehicle has had not accidents.  There was a police report filled out on South Bayshore Drive from a girl who banged her hand on the rear glass claiming to be hit by my father who was backing out of Quantum Condominium at 2mph.  ((The case was dropped and the Cayenne S has no damage what so ever)) I am working with AutoCheck by Experian to have this removed.

Condition of the Vehicle:
Exterior:
1.  There is a scratch on one of the fenders (very minor)
2.  I have shown where the plastic part of the fender was touched up by Porsche may I add
3.  Wheels are perfect no curb rash, slight scratch on one unnoticeable
4.  Front end and Headlights have your average small scratches from highway driving (couple chips not many)
5.  Tires have 50% of tread left
6.  Brakes where just replaced less than 5k miles ago.  New Rotors, New Pads. all documented,

Interior:
1.  Leather looks perfect, note some wear on the drivers side lower bolster (that's it)  Still smells like new leather
2.  Carpet: there is no stains on the carpet great condition
3.  Burr Wood is impeccable

4.  Back seat was never sat in
5.  Rear cargo area was always protected from new by a cargo mat included in sale

Porsche offering short-term loans to Macan waitlisters

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

Walk into a Porsche dealer today, place an order for a Macan and you'll be looking at a waiting period of six months or more before you can expect delivery. That may be common enough for high-end European automakers, but the Macan is meant to lure new buyers to the brand, and the waitlist could be enough to deter them from sticking around.
The solution? Offer to lease them a Boxster or Cayman until their new Macan arrives. Shorter in term that the usual new-car lease, these six-month terms are designed to keep buyers from turning their backs, all the while experiencing the kind of vehicle Porsche does best.
Of course it doesn't hurt that the dealer then gets a used sports car to sell again once the short-term lease is up. And we wouldn't be surprised to see some buyers asking to hold on to their mid-engined sports car for a little longer, either.

Porsche 959 Prototype started it all

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

While Porsche was unveiling the new Nürburgring-dominating 918 Spyder downstairs in Hall 3 here at the Frankfurt Messe, there was another Porsche supercar quietly and discretely on display upstairs in the same hall. That, of course, was the 959. But not just any 959: this was the original Gruppe B prototype.
The 959 was first developed as a rally car in the early 80s to compete with the likes of the original Audi Sport Quattro S1, Ford RS200 and Lancia Delta S4. But Zuffenhausen soon saw its potential as a production road-going supercar, emerging as a technological marvel to challenge the decidedly linear approach of the Ferrari F40. It still stands as a groundbreaking supercar in its own right, but also lead to the first all-wheel-drive 911 Turbo and set the stage for the Carrera GT and aforementioned 918 Spyder that followed to cap the top of the evolving Porsche range.
This original Gruppe B prototype, which presaged the production 959, packed a 450-horsepower 2.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six into an even sleeker form than the final version that followed. We caught up with it on display as part of a display of 80s German classics, of which this 959 prototype immediately stood out as the pick of the proverbial litter. Check out the hotness in the high-resolution image gallery above.

2014 Porsche Cayman S

Second Fiddle Moves To First Chair
In the interest of full disclosure and a bit of bloodletting, allow me to admit that while I've always coveted the Porsche Boxster and its hard-hatted Cayman cousin, I've never really warmed to them visually. They've always had a certain push-me, pull-you, can't-decide-which-way-they're-going aesthetic that I've never really wrapped my head around. Porsche achieved the same thing with the original 550 Spyder's overturned bathtub bodyshell that would come to inspire the Boxster, but somehow that classic's even more symmetrical nature works for me. Fast-forward to this third generation, and at least for this enthusiast, Porsche's manchild has well and truly come of age as a design.
It's all there - a piercing stare thanks to squircle headlamps inspired by the 918 Spyder hypercar, newfound directional thrust afforded by a longer wheelbase and elongated greenhouse, and muscular rear haunches with a wider stance emphasized by larger side ductwork and snubbed overhangs. The body's teardrop shape terminates with an active spoiler that integrates into a gorgeous arc with the taillamps like a budding ducktail nod to 1973 911 Carrera RS. Despite casting a longer shadow than its predecessor, the 2014 Cayman still looks tidily proportioned, smooth and wieldy, the perfect skipping stone to ricochet down a canyon river road.
