Well maintained 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Convertible. White with blue top and interior. 157,500. Great condition driver. Mechanical sound.
I have owned this car for 2.5 years and have had no issues at all with it. I bought it in Idaho and drove it 800 miles to Denver with no issues. Have put less that 10,000 miles on it. Love the car, just don't drive it as much as it should be. Need to pass it on to an enthusiast.

Car is in excelent condition for a 24 year old car. Some dings and scratches, but nothing major. Rims have some road rash. Interior is in great conditions. Seats have no rips or tears, dash has no cracks. Some button show wear. Drivers side door panel carpet has some wear were your foot hits it exiting the car. Has original blue floor mats. Blue top is perfect with clear window. No cracks or rips. Motor for the top works perfectly, but i have converted it to manual due to the costly replacement of top parts that tend to break with the electric top operation. Can connect it back very easily prior to delivery.

Installed and completly rewired the audio system with Kenwood head unit with iPod control, new amp, front and rear speakers and compact sub woofer. Sounds great even with the top down.

Recent (documented) maintenance:
• Timing belt, tensioners, rollers, balance shaft belt and pulley and water pump @149K (Peak Eurosport)
• New windshield due to crack last fall (Premium Auto Glass)
• New tires @ 149K (Discount Tire)
• New Clutch, Pilot Bearing, Flywheel bolt, Rear Main Seal, Torque Tube (used), Drive seal @ 144K (Wagon Works Inc. - Prior to my purchase)
• CAM Chain Tensioner Pads and Valve Cover Seals @ 150K (Self)
• Tune-up with plugs, cap and rotor @ 149K (Self)
• Comes with Noah car cover pictured.

The only two issues with the car are that the AC needs recharged/Converted and there is a minor leak in the power steering rack. I have not addressed these because it's a convertible so i put the top down and drive it so infrequently that a just top off the power steering fluid once in a while.

Please email me any questions you have or if you would like to have any specific pictures sent.

Porsche Cayenne, Panamera production halted by flooding

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

If you recently ordered a Porsche Cayenne or a Panamera, delivery may take a little longer than originally expected. Automotive News reports that production of both models has been temporarily halted at the Porsche assembly plant in Leipzig, Germany as the result of supply shortages caused by flooding in the nearby Czech Republic. The reason for the stoppage is that the body of the Cayenne - currently Porsche's best-selling model - is produced at a Volkswagen plant in the Czech city of Bratislava and shipped by train to Leipzig.
The report does not indicate why Panamera production has been stopped - that the five-door's body is made at a separate location in Hanover, Germany. However pre-assembly will continue on these models. At full capacity, the Leipzig plant can produce about 450 vehicles per day, and it isn't clear how long this weather-related stoppage will last.

Porsche 918 Spyder to birth stretched 2+2 version?

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

Porsche is known for its ability to spin off a litter of variants from a single model, and according to a report in Automobile the 918 Spyder (pictured here) might not be spared the house trick. Having taken too many brains and too much money for too much time, company chiefs are said to be examining ways to get more for their development euro out of the supercar, and Plan A is apparently otherwise known as Plan 984. That would be a four-seater, rear-wheel drive supercar that uses a stretched mold of the 918's carbon fiber tub, keeping the V8 in the same mid-mounted place and costing around 350,000 euro.
That would be less than half the MSRP of its inspiration, but the details don't sketch out a car that's just half as good. Automobile speculates it would get something like 700 horsepower in order to best the coming 911 GT2, and about 440 pound-feet of torque. The 984 is quite a ways short of being confirmed; even though a full-size study is said to exist, it's like the 918 would need to become a bigger sales hit for the 984 to happen.
The 984's fortunes don't change those of the 960, the supercoupe Porsche is building to challenge Ferrari. Its potential specs haven't changed since the last report in January, power coming from a 5.0-liter, twin-turbo, eight-cylinder boxer engine with something like 650 hp pushing a curb weight of roughly 3,100 pounds. The means a suspected 0-to-60 mile-per-hour time of 2.5 seconds.

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

A Wicked-Fast Street Legal Multi-Tool
Walter Röhrl was carving up the circuit in the Porsche 911 Turbo S like a skilled Jedi Master - and I was sitting next to him, mesmerized by the breathtaking show. I had strapped myself securely into the front passenger bucket of the all-new coupe less than a minute earlier, expecting nothing more than a few quick laps around a track at the hands of another celebrated race driver. Been there, done that. Many times, actually.
Yet this was different. Röhrl was not only calculated and methodical in his approach, but his rally-tuned cerebrum appeared to be actively reading available grip levels while effortlessly tossing the all-wheel-drive Porsche into each corner at gut-wrenching speeds. His hands were moving rapidly, sending tiny steering corrections to the front tires, and he was using every inch of the track to extract more speed. We launched over a curb, dropped a wheel in the dirt and then drifted around a wide off-camber turn. His human precision and focus was astounding, and the performance he was extracting from the machine was just short of breathtaking.
