Pontiac Ceta - Perfectly Kept And Treated on 2040-cars
Nanuet, New York, United States
2002 COLLECTORS EDITION FIREBIRD TRANS AM Let me start by saying, this car has been treated by me like its A newborn baby. It has 82,000 give or take A few miles on it. It has never been driven in bad weather. It is not one of these cars that has sat in A garage for 10 years and allowed the Seals to sit and rot and destroy the inside of the engine with thickening sitting oil. This car has No Mods to it. It is not the type of car that You buy and then find out that the guy that sold it to you just killed the makeup of the vehicle. The only Mod this car has is SLP Strut tower which I put on because I believe Pontiac should have from the factory. OK, Did A full GM Tuneup for $911.00 10 months ago. I have new Eagle ZR factory Tires on with less than 4,000 miles on them. Car is Very Very clean. Everything works on car. Interior is Like new, No rips, Spills, Odors, Car has never been in an accident. Straight as an Arrow. Now, their is A crack on passenger side door on trim which seems to be Standard Pontiac Issue. I have not had time to repair this but they tell me it is pretty inexpensive. All windows and door locks work. I did put A new Trophy mat in back of car because the old one which I still have has bent from the sun. She burns no oil and trans is Crisp, Again all serviced and no leaks. If your looking for A nice T/A, Please stop and have A look, I don't think you will be disappointed, I'm A 52 year old man, that does not Beat thing. I can assist with shipping, should you win the bid or car can be locally seen and Picked up. Winner will either wire or Pay Pal $2,000.00 within 24 hours of winning bid and Balance on receipt.

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way
Tue, 21 Feb 2012There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.
Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
