Wow this is such a beautiful car i hate to let it go, but the truth is i never really drive it, i have owned it since 2007 i bought it from the orignal owner with 15,000 miles on the Odometer, i did allot of custom modifacations to the car, i will do my best to list them for your consideration,

There are Firehawk factory floormats,  Custom Embroiderd Headrests, 1 Of a kind Custom rear spoiler(if you want the factory one also it will come with the car you can have it on pick up, if you will need it shipped you will need to pay for that)   has a 10 inch sub in the rear with Amp,  also has an IPOD conection for the factory radio   it has Corvette rims they are a little weathered but not curb rashed in any way,   tire sizes Front Nitto Extreem ZR  F275/35ZP 18   &    Rears are Extreem R NittoNT 555RII  285/35/ZR18  ,drilled rotors and Hawk pads front and rear,    there are Granatelli subframe connecters installed   along with Granatelli rear springs, i have the front factory springs on the front but the Granatelli front lowering springs will come with the car in a box,   the car has traction control and works with the Ford 9 Inch rear(MOSER) end with 3.70 gears and detroit locker,    i have the factory torque arm installed, but the car will come with a Granatelli tunnel mount torque arm in a box(,the tunnel mount was installed before but i removed the arm and installed the stock one its an easy switch if you want to have it back)

Ttransmission has been built to handle the power(700hp) This motor makes  417 to the rear wheels(thats over 500 motor hp), there is a SS3600 stall converter and an added transmission cooler,

As for the motor it has a Custom ported throttle Body,

Electric water Pump, underdrive pully on the main pully

 SFI balancer,

224  Comp.cam,

custom ported factory heads,

 comp cams push rods,

 ARP headbolts,

Hooker longtube headers into a 3 inch custom Y-pipe with 2- 3inch cutouts that goes into the factory over the axel pipe and factory muffler,

there has been a custom tune done on the ECM ,

i will post a link to a youtube video of  how it sounds, the car drives just like a stock WS6 that is untill you get on the gas, i did run a bracket race at the drag strip a few times over the years the car

NEVER MISSED A BEAT, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, it ran a best of 11.61 @ 117.8 MPH in the 1/4 mile with the cutouts open on a set of 16 inch MT street tires the car gets with it its a real easy car to drive ,

The front end was bumped and there was minor damage to the hood, bumper and headlight cover, it was repaired buy the best as the picts show, it was a 2 mile an hour bump into a tailgate of a truck,

Anyway if i forgot anything i will post it, as in all auctions i am looking for the most $$ the market is willing to pay i wont tell the reserve at this time so please dont ask, i will answer you ??s  so feel free to ask,

You will need to arrange shipping as the winner and if your from another country and want the car please understand you will have to do all the leg work and figure  it out on your own., the car will need the factory exhaust and y pipe installed to pass an emission test, the 224 cam has passed the emission test in thousands of LS1s and should do it on this one with all other factory emission devices installed , but that will be up to you the new owner the car is being sold as is,

there is  1 small crack starting in both door panals,(Look at the pictures of door panals)

and the power window motors should be replaced again i made the mistake of installing some cheap motors a few years ago, its an easy job and you can fix the door panals at the same time if you want to.

My goal in building this car was to have a very fast WS6 that would not sacrafice its street manners, i feel i did that , all mods were done by a pro LS1 shop , again i will make a couple videos of the car so you can get a little more info so you can make a decision on what its worth i have put 19000 miles on it for a total of 36,300 miles so the car has been driven an average of a  little over 3000 miles a year as the history report shows i dont drive the car much look at the last 2-3 years History.the car runs and drives great, the Air Conditioning is ice cold the transmission shifts soft on light throttle, and extreemly fast on full throttle

Thanks for your consideration.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.

Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.

GM doing fine at retaining Pontiac owners

Fri, 28 Oct 2011

This isn't the first time we've reported positive news about General Motors retaining former Pontiac owners. Get a few more stories like this latest report from Edmund's Auto Observer, and it will mark an ongoing positive trend for GM. Edmunds.com crunched the numbers to see how well the General is hanging on to customers after shutting out the lights at Pontiac, and it found that nearly 40 percent of Pontiac owners stayed with a vehicle from a General Motors brand.
The numbers are a little lower than an earlier R.L. Polk & Company study, but Edmunds says General Motors is keeping more former Pontiac buyers than it has since 2007. Most are turning to vehicles from Chevrolet, especially during January and February of 2011, when GM incentivized Pontiac owners to stay under the umbrella. Those moves seem to have worked, and 28.1 percent of Pontiac owners trading up made the jump into a Bowtie.
Buyers that have gone elsewhere have largely stayed loyal to Domestic automakers, with Ford picking up the most conquests from Pontiac, with 9.4 percent switching. Toyota and Honda picked up 7.4 percent of the pool of former Pontiac drivers. The numbers are defying any predictions that Pontiac buyers would completely exit the General Motors fold, and have climbed up closer to parity with the retention figures of other GM brands from a 2009 low of only 16 percent retention.
