I am listing this car for a friend and will respond to any questions as best as I can and if not put you in touch with him.

This is a 1970 Pontiac Lemans that has been restored.  The interior and exterior have all been redone.  The engine and transmission both have been rebuilt.  All of the work was done around 5,000 miles ago.  This car has always been stored in the garage.  It has a 350ci engine that has been bored .30 over, has MSD Ignition, edelbrock intake and a 650 cfm holley carburetor.  It has 400 heads with new roller rockers and a crane cam.  New optima battery also installed.  It has headman long tube headers with 2.5 inch exhaust with an X pipe and 40 series flowmasters that turn down before the rear end.  It has a Turbo 350 automatic transmission that has a 2500 stall converter with a b&m shift kit.  Stock gears in the rear end.  The Lemans also has a nice stereo sound system installed and 20 inch rims.

This car is CLEAN! The paint really shines and it will turn heads anywhere you go!

The only issue that I know of is that the gauges are not working.  I haven't personally looked at this so I'm not sure if it's an electrical issue or what.  Other than that this car is in great condition! Don't let a simple fix deter you from owning a nice clean muscle car!

Actual miles on the car are unknown due to gauges not working.  CLEAN TITLE IN HAND!

I will promptly reply to all serious inquires.

This car is being sold as is where is WITH NO WARRANTIES!  This is a clean muscle car but it is not flawless! Cash or Cashiers Check Only! NO PAYPALL!!

Please ask me any questions that you may have before bidding or buying this vehicle.  I have described it to the best of my knowledge.  We can arrange for the car to be seen before buying or bidding if necessary.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

Mon, 13 May 2013

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

CNN chronicles young girl building Pontiac Fiero

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

At fourteen years of age, Kathryn DiMaria has already done what many self-proclaimed gearheads won't even attempt in their lifetimes. The Dearborn, Michigan teen is rebuilding a car from the ground up.
The intrepid youngster asked her parents when she was just twelve to start a Pontiac Fiero project, even offering to pony up all the funds herself. Father, Jerry DiMaria only expected the project to last a few months, but two years later, Kathryn is still at it. In this CNN video, the two are at Maker Faire (a DIY festival) rebuilding a 3.4-liter V6 engine out of a Chevrolet Camaro to replace the 2.8-liter mill found in the Fiero.
The whole family hast pitched in, with Kathryn's mother teaching her how to sew in order to complete the interior, father Jerry providing much of the technical know-how, and even her sister is chronicling Kathryn's progress through photos. Jerry even started a thread in a Fiero forum which has been live for two years and is now 22 pages long. Of the project, one forum member wrote, "welcome to the madness."

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
