The title describes this as a 97 Pontiac CP but that wasn't an option so I'm not sure if its a SE or GT, I googled the vin and it said SE so I'm clueless! This has been a good little reliable car and belongs to my mom. She’s on so much medication these days that it just isn’t safe for her to be on the road. The last bad hail storm took out the back window and left pings everywhere which is a shame because the body was very good except for below the left headlight was hit by something and broke the lens, light and possibly the plastic. Otherwise the body is good no rust that I could see and no major dents and I don’t believe it’s ever been in a collision. The motor runs strong and the transmission is good. I believe the heater works great and the A/C freezes you out. The battery is new and the tires are fairly new with lots of tread. The seats aren’t all ripped up, but the door panel is missing and it could use a really good cleaning. I had her make a list of what she knows is wrong with it. Short in wiring – the battery loses juice if you don’t disconnect the negative cable when it sits for several days. Driver’s door panel is missing. Windshield washer doesn’t work. Small water leak that is not the water pump, it’s been replaced but periodically it does need water, just have to keep an eye on it as she did. Airbags currently disconnected and the glove box needs repair. Original radio was replaced. I can’t promise there isn’t bailing wire or duct tape installed somewhere on the vehicle as that’s the contents of my mom’s repair kit. Please forgive the pictures, it was getting late and getting pictures of a black car in the dusk is tough! I will get some more uploaded and certainly sent to any serious buyer. Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT

The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. GM repairing 40,500 Pontiac Vibes as part of Toyota airbag recall

General Motors has confirmed to Autoblog that the Pontiac Vibe is included in Toyota's just-announced recall action. The Vibe and the Toyota Matrix share a large number of parts, including the affected cable to the airbag.
"About 40,500 Pontiac Vibes from the 2009-2010 model years are included in the Toyota recall. Toyota designed and engineered the Vibe for Pontiac. GM will service customers with these vehicles when Toyota makes the parts available," said GM recall spokesperson Alan Adler to Autoblog in an email.
The recall covers 1.3 million Toyota units in the US, including 2009-2010 Corolla, Matrix and Tacoma, the 2008-2010 Highlander, the 2006-2008 Rav4 and 2006-2010 Yaris, plus the addition of the 2009-2010 Vibe. The models all have their airbag module attached via a spiral electrical cable. The connections on this cable can be damaged when turning the steering wheel. Once broken, the airbag deactivates and the airbag warning light comes on. Toyota has an improved part, but it's still making preparations to begin repairs. It will begin notifying owners soon.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.
