2001 Pontiac Firebird Convertible, V6, Automatic transmission, cold AC, power windows & locks, 4 wheel disk brakes, 97k miles. PORT CHARLOTTE FLORIDA

This car runs and drives good like a 2001 Firebird should. There is a leak on the convertible top or driver window seal somewhere that gets the rear floor wet if it rains really hard. The driver window rolls up fine but doesn't seem to roll up perfectly straight in the last inch it sticks a little crooked. I think may be the leak problem or contributes to it.

It has some minor imperfections inside and out because it's 12 years old now. It's a nice looking car overall. The power convertible top is in good shape and opens and closes fine. The Goodyear Eagle GT tires are in good shape about 60-70% tread.

We drove it to Indiana and back to Florida about a month ago and it drove great and cruised great at 70mph with the cruise control on. When driving 70mph it feels like 30mph because it drives very smooth. The 4 wheel disk brakes seem to stop the car very nicely.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC

Thu, 06 Feb 2014 19:58:00 EST

We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013 14:01:00 EST

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day

Thu, 07 Jun 2012 08:44:00 EST

Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
