Simpsonville, South Carolina, United States
You are bidding on a 2nd owner 1982 Firebird. This car has 59,000 ORIGINAL MILES! This car has been cared for and well maintained since 1982. The original owner kept all original factory paper work with all the options checked off on it. Low retail on this car is 4,800 but this car will be going way cheaper than that. I have a clear SC title. This car runs and drives well. The drive train consist of a well running 5.0 liter 4 barrel v8 (305), a summit racing TH350 automatic transmission, and a 10 bolt rear end. This car has NO rust! The headlights have new motors, new universal joints, new transmission, new wheel cylinders, new breaks, too many other parts to list. Turn the key and drive! The paint is new, not sure if it was the original color or not. Radio, interior lights, and dash lights work as suppose to. The interior is in outstanding shape, no holes or tears. The headliner could use some attention but is in contact. This car is suppose to get 17 MPG according to factor paperwork. If you have any questions please e-mail me. This is a legal bidding contract you are bidding to win not to be the first to look! Buyer is responsible for either local pickup or making shipping arrangements. Thanks, Justin

How to turn a Pontiac Fiero into a trackday car
Fri, 17 Oct 2014Imagine hitting the track in a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports coupe that's affordable and has pretty good parts availability. It might sound like a pipe dream, but it's actually quite possible, if you're willing to think a little outside the box. The Pontiac Fiero is out there just waiting for a little work to turn it into a competent racing machine.
Think about it for a second. Of course, we would all like to be snaking through the curves in something exotic, but what happens when you crash or something breaks? The bills are going to mount up quickly. However, if you ball up a Fiero at the track, as long as you're not hurt, then it's not a huge tragedy.
That's basically the story of Steven Snyder in a new video from Drive starring Matt Farah. Snyder wanted to go to the track cheaply and ended up with an awesome little Fiero with a huge wing and a claimed 220 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a V6 from a Chevrolet Lumina. Check out the video to see how this pint-size Pontiac performs.
eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
If you like what you see, this machine is up for bid in Richfield, Minnesota with two days left on the auctions. So far, bidding as whipped up to $60,000 with the reserve not met. Head over to eBay Motors to have a look.
