I am selling one of my collection pieces.  This GT has over $12,000 in modifications and new parts.  I have owned over 160 Fiero and love to restore these cars. This is a perfect, spotless unwrecked 86 GT.  I really hate to let this car go I just purchased a 2002 Trans Am Ram Air with 3000 miles and need some extra room to store it .   I'm currently driving it daily, everything works you will not be disappointed.  I have 100% feedback.  Don't waste your money on project cars this GT is priced right and is a great value.  A great deal of time and money has been invested in this car.  See below for details.

I spent a ton of time on this Gt.  The trunk is rust free.  My reserve is very reasonable.  Mileage is exempt on title due to age. You will not be disappointed and you will not need to buy anything for this Gt.  Please email me for my number or information.   You are more than welcome to stop by and drive the Gt and look it over.  Good luck bidding.

Please be advised: If you bid and I am unable to contact you I will retract your bid.

This Gt was painted about a year ago the paint looks amazing it doesn't have some minor nicks and chips from daily driving it was a original sunroof car but I prefer a solid roof Gt , I swapped the roof with a mint solid roof , replaced the windshield and bought a Fiero store black headliner .

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.

General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.

Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.
