CONDITION
I bought this car from the Nissan dealership with 33K miles on it. This car has had one previous owner, who had leased it from the dealership I bought it from. I've only put about 6K of mostly highway miles on the car since I've owned it. I pretty much just drive it to and from work (40 mi round trip). I'm a mature 37 year old, I've never tracked it (more into go-karting) or put it through any really hard driving. I had my dealership check the computer and it has never been launched. I'm selling this car because I'd like to get the Tesla S. And since I also own a Ferrari, I felt I didn't need to have two really sporty cars so I'm parting with my GT-R.
My car's exterior and interior has been maintained on a monthly basis by the professional detailers of Lucci Elite Detail. They detail the majority of the Bugatti Veyrons in the Southern California region so you can rest assure that this car has always been kept in pristine condition inside and out. There is clear bra protecting the front bumper and headlights. I don't smoke and I've never allowed food into this car.
All service has been done on schedule at my Nissan dealership, they have full records. I've had zero issues with this car, it runs flawlessly. Dealership put brand new Dunlop SP Sport 7010 DSST tires on when I bought the car. With only 6K miles on them, there is plenty of life left on the tires, they look brand new. Dealer also installed brand new front rotors so you won't need to replace those anytime soon. Rear rotors aren't brand new but also have plenty of life left on them.
The only imperfections I can think of are that the underside of front lip has some scuffs and there are 2 small paint chips that were touched up on the passenger rear fender. Please take a look at the detailed photos lower on this page.
ADD-ONS
- 20" Forgestar CF5 Wheels
- HKS Legamax Exhaust (street legal, passes smog just fine and sounds so good, I still have the stock exhaust if you want it)

- Light window tint all around
- Clear bra on front bumper and headlights
- Shadow chrome GT-R emblems front and rear
- Big, fat Nissan logo removed from rear

WHY BUY THIS CAR?

Nissan settles with FTC over misleading dune buggy ad [w/videos]
Fri, 24 Jan 2014A couple years ago, Nissan created a series of commercials for its compact Frontier pickup showing the truck performing outlandish stunts such as snowboarding, saving a passenger airplane from a crash landing and climbing a steep sand dune to help a stranded dune buggy. As crazy as the first two commercials were, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) took issue with the latter, titled Hill Climb, with the agency considering it to be a misleading commercial since both vehicles required a cable to reach the top of the steep dune.
As such, Ad Age is reporting that Nissan - and its ad agency TBWA Worldwide - has settled with the FTC over the ad despite the fact that it features a disclaimer stating: "Fictionalization. Do not attempt." Nissan did not have to pay out any money in the settlement, but it is prohibited "from using potentially misleading demonstrations in future advertisements for pickups." In addition to the offending commercial, posted below, we've included some of the other related videos from the same Frontier campaign.
Nissan design to show more Chinese influence
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Nissan is going to be leveraging the weight of the Chinese market by selling cars influenced by the People's Republic in other markets around the globe. The influence of Chinese design is further proof of the country's importance on a global scale. Nissan isn't the only manufacturer that's looking to leverage China's burgeoning design talent, as BMW, Volkswagen, and General Motors have all set up facilities.
In fact, VW and GM have both used Chinese talent to design cars, in the Passat and Buick LaCrosse, respectively. Nissan has already tested the waters with its Beijing studios, penning the Friend-Me Concept from this year's Shanghai Auto Show. Where GM and VW used their Shanghai-based studios as more consultancies than anything else, though, Nissan is aiming to have the Beijing studio design a global car.
According to Nissan's global design head, Shiro Nakamura, that's already happening. Nakamura told Reuters that Nissan is two years from launching a Chinese-designed global model that will see sales in both North America and Europe, in addition to its home market. While Nakamura wouldn't elaborate on what the new model's styling would entail, there's a focus on what the Chinese call daqi.
Nissan does its best Google Glass impression with 3E headgear [w/video]
Wed, 13 Nov 2013The jury may still be out on whether it'll be legal to drive with Google Glass on your nose, but that doesn't mean automakers are going to sit around waiting to see which way the wind blows in one jurisdiction or another. Mercedes-Benz, for example, is already working on ways to integrate its infotainment system into Google Glass, but Nissan is taking things a step further by developing its own wearable tech.
The device is called Nissan 3E, and we don't have much information to go on at this point - just a couple of images, a terse press release and the highly stylized (and rather painful-looking) video below. The Japanese automaker lists internet connectivity and communication as the primary features. But we'd have to assume that, if an automaker is developing it, the device would have some relevance to, you know... driving.
The possibilities are endless, extending from turn-by-turn directions and track information to vehicle metrics and intuitive control of the car's auxiliary controls. We'll have to wait until we get to Tokyo to find out more, but between this and the smartwatch concept it revealed in Frankfurt, Nissan seems to be on a bit of a gadget streak lately.
